He keeps asking Jugs whether Prani read it and then he wants the lights on. Jugs tells that it feels good without the lights, with the decors anol but Rey is seriosly pissed and wants it on.

Can someone explain?

Rey installed small lights and the rest was dimmed, so it's dark enough to make a surprise.

Rey asks Jagnu to turn on the central light to illuminate the room.

His mood is dark so it oppresses him, a little light will make him less annoyed (that's what he thinks...).
