The entirety of Tuscany. Its such a chill life there. Good food, the most stunning afternoon views, never ending expanse of fields, kindest people who love doggos. Italians have this slow motion way of life that forces you to stop and smell the roses. I cannot wait to go back.

Special mentions : Brussels, Tel Aviv,Rome.

In India, Darjeeling: So much childhood nostalgia attached to this place. My grandparents have properties there and childhood summers meant a trip to the hills with Feluda in your hands ,buying prettiest scarfs in its chaotic markets and eating the warm delicious native food.

Have been to and experienced so many so called beautiful and glamourous cities around the world, but nothing feels as dreamy as Darjeeling. And it helps that it's so close to home. I plan to settle or atleast live there for a few years in the future. Let's see.

There's a small town called Binsar in Uttaranchal. It has the most spectacular views of the upper ranges of Himalaya. In fact, from most places in the town, you can easily spot at least 15 ranges with the naked eye. And on a really clear, sunny day, you can see upto 22 Himalayan ranges including Kedarnath. It is one of the most beautiful, pristine and laidback place, I have ever seen. It snows heavily in the winters and then the place looks like a winter wonderland and in the summers, its forests are painted a lush red with Palash flowers (Flame of the Forest) blooming everywhere. One of my fondest memories is sitting at a tiny, local cafe and having piping hot maggie and Chai and looking at the snow-clad mountains from its windows. Total bliss.

Definitely would like to settle there at some point in time, but the only issue there it is that it gets dark after 3 in the afternoon in the winters and there is literally nothing to do, except stay inside and watch TV. (Not a bad thing)

Vienna is an absolute delight to live in. None of the crowd and shadiness of Paris or London. Extremely convenient with transport, living, entertainment. And those palaces are beautiful.
