Why the hell would they? Firstly, its entirely possible that they didn't use drugs. Secondly, even if they did why the hell would they admit to it? Did Sushant admit to being high when he was alive and was allegedly misbehaving with women at parties? Or when he was allegedly kicked out of his "beautiful" apartment?

They protected him and his legacy long enough. Even if it meant Rhea going to jail. But they're not going to keep batting for him when their own life is at stake. Like Rhea said, The truth will find its way eventually. Too bad its not the Truth the warriors want to believe.
