He was Vijay’s voice in his early days too. I believe he contributed to Vijay’s success as most of the songs have been hits and blockbusters. He actually made many superstars thanks to his voice.

You know, even if I hear a song for the first time by SPB, I can guess who the one actor is. He adapts his voice to each one of them as you say. Thats what makes him unique. Aaj kal ka singers it’s mostly autotune, no diversity and versatility at all 😳

The one you shared with Venky and Soundarya, Hariharan sang in the Tamil version.

In his 5 decades of singing, he has always been unique. With his demise, that era is indeed finished. And there will be no other singer like him. Charan has a similar voice, but he too can’t replace him. He isn’t as versatile as his dad. He can pull off romantic numbers well, but thats about it.

Even after 10 generations, his songs will live on mesmerizing one and all 😍
