Having flaws is completely normal, but the double standards are sometimes plainly obvious. Karan has always been not just rude but extremely disrespectful to Preeta and almost everyone he deems to be of lower status than him. He continues to be so. Yet, someone felt the need to point out how Rishabh's tone has been unpleasant towards Sherlyn.

Everyone has biases, and a lynchpin he/she has chosen to defend, be blind towards try to divert attention from because I think that is how we are hardwired as human beings to justify our choices and allegiance with rose tinted glasses.

He was rude to Sherlyn from the beginning. When he decided to do the engagement ceremony at KKB hall he just said it without any explanation. And he said that if Sherlyn doesn't like his decision she can cancel the engagement. Is it polite?🤔

Actually he was often rude to the people at the beginning. Sameer, people at work, drivers. He was rude to them. But he always apologized later. But this part of his character was shown not once. Later the writers have stopped showing him rude to other people except Sherlyn.

u got it wrong.... karan told rishabh about sherlyn's pregnancy report after he got married to sherlyn just before he was about to go to his room. who in his right senses would consummate marriage then.

i agree with the rude part. he was somewhat rude with people but he apologized later. i think his character was supposed to be an angry young businessman but they turned him into a totally spineless person 😆

infact he was occasionally rude with karan too. he slapped him often without thinking twice 😆 till preeta got angry with him for doing so. rishabh discarded that rudeness after that.

imo 'strictness' is more appropriate word to explain rishabh's behavior in early episodes.

but karan is plain rude to the people of lower class.

Did I say anywhere that Karan was right? He's wrong , I agree, but my point was that every character has in a way been a two-timer including Rishab.

Im not saying Karan is right or that he's not two-timing. He is , but that doesnt mean that Rishab has been right all along. He was emotinally cheating on Sherlyn, especially since he didnt know her reality.

@ bold.. i was talking before they both got married. Even engagement or courtship requires you to be faithful, not just marriage. In regards to Preeta, I meant her relationship with Prithvi. Yes, shes been faithful to Karan, but not Prithvi. Similarly before marriage Rishab wasn't faithful to Sherlyn either.

@ red...Just because Karan is in the wrong, doesn't make every other character 100% right either. No one is saying that Karan is right or that he's perfect, no character is. Rishab has also been shown to have that mentality a few times, regarding those who have a lower status than him.e.g Sameer in the intitial episodes & with the truck driver in the recent episodes.

If Karan is wrong that doesn't mean Rishabh's character should not be discussed if he does something wrong.

I refuse to make a choice and defend or stay silent if I see something I don't like in the character just because the other character is wrong.

Karan's flaws are obvious. People discussed it so many times. While Rishabh's flaws are not so obvious as his behaviour is not so loud. Hence we discussed it very little or never. There's no harm to discuss it as well.
