There's Fashion too. PC was the "lead" role but couldn't shed her cookiecutter bollywood heroine avatar fully while Kangana stole the show with her performance and looked like an actual show stopper in those ramp walks.

Kangana is the better actress but Urmila had a more impressive career.

Both are equally talented

Urmila has a better voice and dialogues delivery though and a better body of work. Let's see what Kangana give in the future.

Urmila. But that is like asking who is better-Urmila or Madhuri.

I don't think they are equals-Kangu is a decent actor, but more rabble rouser roles-basically playing a version of herself. I can never imagine her playing Umrao Jaan or a Chandni or even some of Urmila's better roles. Urmila was far betetr rounded.

What some people are saying that Kangana is a better actor than Urmila.

Urmila's Kaun is better than Kangana's entire career.

Both are exceptional actors, I would say KR performs better with the role given to her but Urmila has a more mass appeal and she can do both Masala and off beat movies with ease.
