Well he didn’t divorce his wife of 25 yrs for her so technically she’s not

She is his second wife in the sense one of two existing wives but sixth in order, I think he was divorced from other four wives

Anyway whenever I read about this in UK websites all the comments are so sympathetic to her, they think she’s from a very conservative middle eastern royalty who had to marry a rich old man with five wives but that’s not the case

It was not an arranged marriage and as I said like the other ladies of the Jordanian royal family she’s westernized, educated and accomplished and the family is quite liberal

According to her “She went into the marriage with her eyes fully open”

EDIT: Or maybe he is NOT divorced from his other wives...

The thing about royal families in the Middle East is, nothing much is known about them. What seems to be is far away from reality.

What happened to Princess Latifa? She was “modern”, “educated” and “ westernised” too. But was abused all her life and has most likely been murdered. We don’t know what goes behind the closed doors. The fact that there is no media or any leak to report such things.

I have spent 17 years in the gulf bdw. Grew up there.
