What exactly are you referring to? The movies, animated shows, or comics?

For the latter two, everyone knows who she is. Her identity isn't a secret. If you're talking about the DC live action 2017 film, then technically, she didn't lie. Steve did, and she just went along with it. But the people she went out on the field with knew who she really was.

Imagine getting to see that in live action.
