Alia is a good looking girl. Not out of the world beautiful, but pretty and charming. Which is why she does well in those girl next door characters.

May be average looking by moviestar standards. But no way this is average looking in real life. She would have a lot of following in any college if she were just a normal girl.

Beauty is relative- the one you find apsara, I may find her below average and vice versa. Most people I know feel Alia is average or below average looking, but am sure there are thousands of people who might find her drop dead gorgeous. To each its own!

Pooja Bhatt was a beauty .... can't say the same about Alia. I don't consider Alia above average even among girls walking in the streets. This is not politically correct but I do think a lot of audience put her on a pedestal for her "fair skin" too .... something that has a proven track record of receiving preferential treatment in bollywood.
