Otherlife

Ren Amari designs a "biological" program that allows the user to compress time and virtually undertake all these extreme adventures like snowboarding in the Alps, going underwater diving etc. A year can be compressed into 1 minute.

She's basically doing this to be able to help her brother come out of a coma...the diving program is based on his accident.

Her partner Sam seems to be planning things behind her back along with her colleague Byron. Sam has been conducting secret negotiations with a govt (This is an Australian movie) corrections deptt that hopes to use the program for confinement of convicts. Her lover Danny dies after an accidental overdose of the chemical that's used to trigger the "biological" program....And Ren Amari is given a choice to undergo the 365 days in a minute confinement program. So what happens next?

10/10 for this movie. I loved it so much...it has so many..So many layers. Apart from the thrilling premise...the editing is such that its like altered reality...like a supposed side effect of the program is mentioned.......It's like we as viewers too are taking part in the program.....we experience loss of space and time....the editing is tgat good even tho the first 20 minutes are a bit of a slow burn...And in 1 scene..Ren steals a jacket with a DMT logo in the front....hahaaa....This movie is like a DMT trip...oh I loved it so much...And then the oft repeated line....memories are but chemicals...And the questions of choice and creating our reality...And lucid dreaming...i suggest everyone to watch this amazing movie.

Flesh - Amazing thriller. Akshay stole the show.

Gunjan Saxena - Trash film. Janhvi was completely blank in her long monologue.

Meri Pyaari Bindu

What a bittersweet movie. Absolutely loved it. This film deserves more views. Ayushman & Parineeti were beautiful together. ❤️

Shatranj Ke Khiladi (1977)

Satyajit Ray's first hindi movie. And damn, this was GOOD. This is how you make a historical film, people. Bolly folks today need to learn from him.

Mulan - don't see the latest movie even if your life depends on it. It doesn't hold a candle to the original animated version. Seriously, go watch the original, you'll probably have a much better time. Don't waste your time on this.

Tanhaji

Finally watched and I loved it. I think this is the best portrayal of Ajay Devgan. The role was made for him and for the first time I also found him attractive, his body looked great as well.

Saif was really good too! It’s hard to be funny and evil at the same time and he managed to strike both chords with so much craft. I know he was going through a bad phase but glad he’s bouncing back!

Kajol, my god. Such a short role but in just a handful of scenes she showed why she’s so great! Such natural acting. That scene where she hugs Tanhaji cuz she’s scared she’ll lose him and also that end scene in the mirror uff.... these two scenes alone show how untalented our current actresses are. If Alia can win for Gully boy then give Kajol awards too!

I know Kajol and Saif are both Nepo kids but this level

Of acting can never be seen in these Alu’s and Janhvi’s

Now that the third movie is out, I watched the full Bill & Ted trilogy: Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey, and Bill & Ted Face The Music. The first movie is a cult classic. The second is choppy but hilarious. The latest is actually a sweet homage to the previous two and Bill & Ted passing the baton to the next generation.
