Weed/joints are so normal that's it's part of the college experience nowadays. Every college has it dealer too. Engineering and business colleges have it as a staple. IITs and IIMs thrive on it. I was like you a few years back but then I went to business school. Most people use it before exams cause apparently the mind becomes super sharp. I cant personally confirm lol but those people truly became most productive those nights 😁

Okay, very honesty, there is a certain upper class in my city too that consumes drugs.. But even they don't normalize it.. I mean they do it as a means of rebellion or dare but always try to hide it.. No one goes like hey its normal to have drugs.. at least in the environment I have been.. but then i am no longer a student so maybe things have changed now and I am just living in some old era

Joints are not considered a drug amongst students is what I know. In the current student culture in India, nobody calls anyone a 'druggie' over weed. Because a large part of the world has accepted that weed is harmless and given it legal status so maybe that's why the attitude change. Smoking a joint is exactly the same as drinking bhaang, what matters is the potency I guess. One is illegal, the other is legal go figure. Nobody is normalising life threatening drugs tho,that would be insane. But as with alcohol, or literally any addition, weed/marijuana addiction and withdrawal is real too.

I still question the normalization of alcohol use so I guess I am just too old school😆
