"Aryan, mjhe na tumhari kisi baat pe bharosa nhi h" Ridhhima made a face
"Toh mat kro" he walked
"Ye Kya baat Hui, tumne mjhe wo photos Kyu dikhai or Kon h wo ladki" Riddhima ran behind him
"Dekho Ridhhima, mjhe koi shauk nhi h tumhari help krne ka.. to be very honest m to bus ye chahta hu ki tumhe tumhari galti ka ehsas ho" he said and handed her the photos.. Ridhima looked at the picture again, this time she can have a closer look.
Vansh was wearing a navy blue blazer and a white shirt in the photo exactly the one he wore in the morning. He had told her, he had an important meeting so he would be late. But looking at this photo, taken somewhere around noon, she didn't know what to make of it, Vansh was standing with a young woman, one Riddhima described as hot in her mind. his hand was on her waist and they were laughing.
"Ye koi client.." Ridhhima spoke
"Tum duffer ho Kya, ye tumhe client lg rahi h" Aryan rolled his eyes.
"Tum paheliya bujhana band kro or saaf saaf bolo Aryan" She pointed her finger at him
"Oo, m to dar gya" Aryan laughed.
"Ridhhima raat k 2 baj rahe h, subah hone ko ayi h or Vansh wapas nhi aya, mjhe pata h ki tumhe lgta h Vansh kitta hard working h par tumhari knowledge k ly Bata du, Angre is sleeping in his room, or Angre k Bina Vansh sirf sone jata h.. tumhare sath to so nahi raha, aage tum khud samajhdar ho" Aryan smiled wide and bent a little to look into her eyes.
"Kya ho raha h yaha" Came her husband's voice from behind.
"Kuch nhi Bhai, bus kuch baatein, devar bhabhi ki" Aryan straightened himself and spoke
"Rat k 2 bje?" Vansh asked irritated
"Kyu bhai? Aap raat k do baje tak bahar reh skte h or hum ghar m baate nhi kr Skte? Ye kaha ka insaaf h?" Aryan said in his usual tone.
"Chalo Ridhhima" Vansh ordered. Ridhhima was too angry and jealous to abide.
"Tum chalo mein apni baat khatam karke aati hu" she sternly replied.
Vansh looked at her amazed. Did she talk back to him for Aryan? And why was she talking to him? What were they talking about at this time? He gritted his teeth and moved to his room.
A while after Ridhhima entered their room. Vansh was not there. She looked towards the locked washroom door and walked upto the bed. His blazer and shirt was thrown on the bed. "Ye Kya tareeka h" she said and picked them up. Suddenly her eyes fell on the red stain on his white shirts' pocket. She looked closer and her eyes widened. It was a lipstick stain.
"A lipstick stain?" She gasped.
Is what Aryan saying true?
Vansh is cheating on me? She sat with a thud. Her eyes giving up the tears. She looked at the stain again and again being sure of what she saw. She kept her hand at her heart and felt the pain, everywhere but she had no idea why. Why is his adultery effecting her ? Did she expect his loyalty and why? Was she being loyal to him? No matter how she tried accepting it she couldn't. "What more can you expect from a man with no conscience" she fake laughed and threw his clothes on the couch. She couldn't let herself weak. "Baate to badi badi krta h, family bharosa vishwas or harkatein" she sat down in front of the dressing table to remove her jewelery, he came out of the room and saw fuming. He raised his brow "muh Kyu fula rakha h?"
"Tumse Matlab" she frowned
"Oooo cool sweetheart lagta h lad k arahi ho apne best friend Aryan se" he rolled his eyes
"Wese mjhe to lagta tha wo tumhe futi ankh nhi suhata, fir ye hriday parivartan kese?" He asked
She stayed quiet. She knew she would say something she will regret so she stayed quiet to Vansh's surprise. She stood up and went to her bed.
"Lights off krdo, mjhe neend a rahi h" She said closing her eyes
"Kyu? Abhi Tak to tum gossip kr rahi the, thodi humse bhi krlo, hum m Kya burai hai sweetheart?" He smirked.
"Dekho Vansh, ye faltu ki bakwas band karo, mein tumhari tarah nahi hu" she said.
"Meri tarah to tum ho bhi nhi skti" he smiled.
"Or hona bhi nhi h mujhe, tum jesa besharam"
She sat down and screamed.
"Tum itna Jo chilla rahi ho.. kyaa baat Dil m daba rahi ho?" Vansh sang
"Vansh tum kaha the pure din?" She couldn't take it anymore and directly Asked him, coming out of her blanket.
"I told you I had a mee.."
"Shut up Vansh, bebkoof hu m?" She stood up
"What..what is this all about?" He asked shocked and kinda scared
"Really Vansh, then explain, what is this" she pulled the bed side drawer and picked the photos and threw at him. Vansh bent down to collect them. He looked at his photos and tried remembering..
"Riddhima ye Sab Kya h, tumhe ye kaha se Mila" he asked
"Kaha se kese rehne do Vansh, sawal tum nhi m puch rahi hu" her eyes went red as she came closer to him.
"Ye photos to bhot purani h, I think, around a year, before I even met you, are you being jealous?"he smiled.
"Purani? Really, ye aj ki photo h! Tumne aj ye dress pehna tha" she screamed.
"Ha Riddhima, par tumse ye kisne kaha ki m ek suit sirf ek bar pehenta hu?" He chuckled.
"Wow, wow what an answer" Ridhhima clapped and rushed to bring his shirt from the laundry bag as Vansh stood there confused.
"Try explaining this Vansh Rai Singhania? Oh! I know I know, ye b ek sal pehle ka daag hoga nahi?" She gave him dead glares, her eyes brimming with tears.
"Ridhima" he whispered slowly as he came closer, concern visible on his face.
"No, don't you dare" she showed him her hand and stopped him mid way.
"You cheat, you womanizer, how dare you sleep with other woman leaving me here in this estranged bedroom all day, and then accusing me of betrayal every other day? Listen to me Dear husband, to hell with you and to hell with your rules. I will leave this house : first thing in the morning" she turned around and left the room. Vansh stood there , his mouth wide open. She didn't even give him a chance to explain. "What the hell" he said to himself and followed her.
She was going towards the garden.
He followed her
When he reached the garden, he saw her sitting on the bench, sobbing.
He sat beside her and she flinched, distancing herself. Vansh Sighed and gave her his hanky, she refused to take it.
"Lelo, tumhe kaafi jarurat h" he said
"Tum yaha b Mera majak udane aye ho" she looked at him disgusted.
"Nahi, bilkul nahi, infact, mein to bus ye kehra hu ki ye rumaal lo, apne aansu bhi poch lo or sone se pehle apni lipstick bhi"
She looked at him confused.
"Riddhima, I had an urgent meeting today and I was getting late for it, or tum to ghode bech k soti rehti ho dopahar Tak, mera wallet tumhare pillow k neeche tha, use nikalne k liye I bended and tumhare cherry red lips ye mauka kese chod skte the, or mere pass itta time nahi tha ki shirt change kru, I wore blazer above it and left. Chalo mjhpe tumhe bharosa nahi h na sahi, kamse Kam ldkio ka naam to mat dubao, Ishani ko pata Chala na ki Tum apna he lipstick shade nahi pehnchan pai, I don't think she will ever forgive you" He said and stood up to leave..
"Vansh" Ridhhima whispered
"Neend aa rhi h Sweetheart, chahe Tumhara best friend kuch bhi bole, tumhara pati Sach m bhot hardworking h" he smirked.
Riddhima looked at him in shock. So he heard their conversation and yet he didn't say anything.
"Jab tumhe pata tha Aryan mjhe bhadka raha h to tumne kuch bola kyu nhi" she stood up angry again.
"Kyuki Sweetheart, tumhare sare rang dekh liye h mene, bus jalti hui kesi lagti ho ye dekhne ka armaan tha Mera" he winked and left from there leaving a startled Riddhima blusing there.
