Love and hate this thread at the same time. Hate it because it is propagating what the show wants you to think.
I have never hated this show more than I do now. They're ruining everything that I loved about it!!! Meenu has never been more OOC and what is this dhruvtaara nonsense?! Parul literally said that Kunal does not have an identity of his own. His whole existence needs to be about his brother. What is this false empowerment? But more than anything, I hate this show for ruining the story I wanted to see since I started watching the show: Kunal's parentage and how he handles it.😭
IMO things have always been like that in RJV house, specifically from Parul & Meenu's side, they have always reduced him to Abir's nanko or Meenu ka munna(though this one by Naanu & Abir mostly), I cant recall any scene where Kunal's pov was given importance over theirs
or even what he wants was asked & taken into account by these ladies, I mean havent they both practically raised him to be Abir's parchhaayi?
the poor guys has always had to compromise or adjust for 'ghar ki shanti' that too silently without even throwing a fit (except during his 1st wedding)
ofcourse he had an important role to play as he was actually the ghar ka beta handling everything, all chaos, Meenu vs Abir, also the business with Meenu
but wrt to Abir he was always playing this role, anchoring him to RJV house
keeping aside the ott dialogues, I see the same intent & povs still of Meenu & Parul both wrt Kunal
tbh I always saw only Kuhu (I guess we have even discussed this in previous kuku ATs) used to be the one who actually empowered, supported, guided Kunal in true sense without any selfish motive or a calculated intent
and that is why Kunal was reluctant to discuss with her about the ribbon cutting by Parul during Red Pear's logo inauguration, because then he would have to talk about what he wants(his feelings which he is so used to ignore), not what is right or what is required in current circumstances or what Abir suggested/wanted him to do
