If my prediction ends up being correct, then I think Mrunal and Anna will be soon revealed to be the same person and this will make any gratefulness she may feel towards him go straight into the gutter, so Kalma will soon reunite and fight him together and Anna's connection with the Deshmukhs' newly acquired wealth will be revealed, they'll loose it all and end up back at AN, and the next track will be the introduction of Moksh, once the secrets surrounding Kalyani's "death" are revealed to her and us, allowing Kalma to reunite without anything between them.

In short, if Avni's papa is Mrunal, then he will later be revealed to be Anna or at least to have some connection with him, that's the only way Kalyani will be able to choose Malhar over repaying his favors without feeling any guilt as he'll be a criminal and should be in jail.
