That movie doesn't look any different from the dramas, at least the Mahira ones. Just imagine one long episode of one of her dramas with the entire story condensed to a 2 hour movie and that's Ho Mann Jahan for you. It has a song that looks a lot like a bollywood wedding song too.

Another one is Bin Roye ... that's also with Mahira. She's a treat to watch. Bin Roye has a fully drawn out drama as well a movie version of the same story with the same characters.

I avoided Bin Roye(drama) for the longest time and finally succumbed to it last weekend. Liked the male lead’s acting, Mahira is okay and the drama though very tastefully shot- is strictly a one time watch at the most!

Yup, the visuals won me over too. I spent years trying to stream it online but they've been really strict about it. I finally watched the drama after it was accessible on YT.

I like lighthearted movies that incorporate hints of reality and glamor/drama to entertain people. I can't watch gloomy movies like Bol, for example. I noticed that some parts of Bin Roye was shot in San Francisco and that helped with the visual appeal too.
