As for Alia doing this movie as a favor to her dad, I call BS. If she couldn’t say no to her dad she would have done Aadhiqui3 three years ago. Her father and uncle talked about it in the media several times but Alia kept making excuses about how the script wasn’t ready. She agreed to do this one because she felt it was a sure shot hit with the movie centering around her and Sanjay. Sure maybe she didn’t think her dad would bitch it this much. But this was no favor to her dad. This was her getting overconfident and miscalculating. Sadak nostalgia, assumption of great music, hype of Mahesh Bhatt coming back, and the news of Sanjay and Pooja coming back in a sequel to one do the biggest hits of their careers. Everything about this movie said massive hit on paper just like everything on paper said massive hit about Kalank, her other miscalculation. Remember how she struggled to tell KJo and Varman if she doesn’t do Kalank she’ll be very upset with them? 🙄🙄

Adding to all this , if I may, she also wanted the “magical” chemistry with ARK like how Shraddha and ARK had in Aashiqui.

She wants everything what she deems her competition has. She wanted SLB movie, Meryl Streep narrative, costar with the flavor of the season etc.. eventually her fall seems to be her own Dad and association with Papajo.

Seriously I am so grossed out by Badnaam Alia's desperate PR 🤢

Aliya is strictly average...And Mahesh Bhatt seems so out of touch with reality...Just like RamGopal Verma or Subhash Ghai. They totally overestimated their talent & stardom. I wish this movie released in theaters, now they will use 10different excuses for the failure.
