Ok and honestly I am tired of this moral high ground debate on those of us watching Jalan. It does not mean that anybody is endorsing this in real life or EMA between sister in law and brother in law.
Shows like GOT are the most watched series around the world and it showed incest, rape, nudity etc. It does not mean the viewers endorse that either. We all watch shows for entertainment and this one has plenty, because it has been unpredictable sofar.
I find the drama very gripping for the most part - not one episode has been boring sofar and its got good actors and I pretty sure Asfi and Nisha will not be walking away Scott-free.
I so agree with you, it's so annoying now that everything is turned into bashing or a moral debate. I don't understand what's the new issue with Pakistani audience now. Aaj kal har Pakistani show ke peeche lag jate hai 👎🏼 and it's annoying to see our audience just bash their own content and talk about morals. Not once in the show there is glorification of SIL-BIL relationship. If anything they show Nisha and Asfi both in a bad light and don't show that there is a "good side" to this relationship. For god's sake, if you don't like it just don't watch it. I have the same problem with people who bash Mohabbat Tujhe Alvida for being copy of Judaai all the time... it's like just don't watch it then. But if a foreign show did the same concept, there would be applause from our audience and people would be like "So interesting" and "Pakistan kabhi iss level pe nahi aa sakta" 🤔.
And yes I agree with you. This show has kept me on the edge from episode 1 and they continue to make each episode interesting. Asfi and Nisha will get their karma.
