Geet can't escape like that.... Maan is after her.....

Maan: Geet, ye teek nahi hai, Aman ka badla tum inn becharon se kyun lena chahthi ho? kahan kahan se log tummare liye aaye hai? aur kab se tumse milne ke liye taras rahe hai?

Geet: let them wait, mujhe ek break chahiye, I'm going for a walk, aap ladhkon ko sambalo tab tak

Maan: kya? rukho Geet, mein bhi aatha hoon

Maan too joins her.....

Geet loves the lush green trees standing tall at the backyard.... there is a small path in the middle of the green field leading into the lake area .....

Geet takes a stroll towards the lake.....

As she moves feeling the fresh air she closes her eyes and breathes in the beauty....

it's still cloudy and the Sun is playing hide and seek behind the dark rain clouds....

A cold breeze starts blowing from the lake..... it's too cold and Geet is still in her wet clothes...

She is shivering and she folds her hands to keep herself warm....

Suddenly it feels nice and cozy for Maan has wrapped his waist coat around her and she has received the warmth of his hands that wrap her when he buttons the coat from behind....

Geet closes her eyes and is lost in the moment completely.... she has frozen...

A thunder strikes and Geet comes back to her senses.....

She pushes Maan aside and starts walking swiftly to avoid such proximity....

Maan gives her the space..... he doesn't want to rush into things....

They reach the lake and Geet keeps staring the water in silence.... she is speechless or she uses her silence as a shield....

It's still very cold out there and the rain has started again... it looks like it's going to pour.....

Geet is trembling under Maan's waist coat...

Maan finds a small shade nearby..... he swiftly lifts Geet and takes her there....

Maan keeps staring into Geet's eyes trying to look for the answers for all his quests...

Those innnocent eyes of hers are not so innocent and they always reveal the real drama that is going on behind them.....

it looks like the shelter where the camp fire is lit in the evenings....

Geet signals Maan to let her down...... Maan obeys her orders instantly....

Geet is still shivering.....

Maan finds some oil and matches and he lights the camp fire for Geet .....

Geet comes and stretches her hands in front of the fire....

Maan has not only ignited the camp fire but also the fire inside Geet....

Geet sits on the floor to get closer to the fire.....

Maan comes and sits beside her.....

They steal looks while pretending to be not bothered....

Maan starts the conversation in a husky tone.....

Maan: toh Geet, tumme kaunsa sevak pasand aaya?

Geet: kaise sevak?

Maan: woh pehle wala Rajat hai, woh hamesha tummare tareef karke tumme kush rakega, duara Daman hai, woh toh tummare saath saath tummare Darji ka bhi kaam aayega, aur ye Chef Nandan toh ghar jamai ke liye perfect hai, aur Aswat, Tarak aur Mithun se milna baki hai

Geet: mujhe koi bhi pasand nahi hai, koi bhi mujhse shadhi karne layak nahi hai

Maan: par Geet, inn se achcha sevak kahin nahi milega, they are the best

Maan keeps teasing Geet to get something concrete out of her mouth.....

Geet ko gussa aatha ki Maan usski ek hi galthi ko bar bar sunathe rehtha hai.....

Geet: aap bhi toh mere kitna achcha seva karthe ho, toh kya

Geet stops, she is about to commit another blunder.....

Maan: toh kya Geet?

Maan moves closer and whispers in her ears....

Maan: bolo Geet, tum kya kehne wali thi? bolo Geet, aaj toh bol hi do Geet

Maan has caught her red handed this time......

Geet: toh

Geet is still hesitant....

Maan gets even closer..... he takes her hands in his and holds them tight....

Maan: I want to hold your hands like this forever Geet, haan Geet, I'm ready to serve you Geet, forever

Geet: toh aap hi mere ghar aajao Darji ke ghar jamai banke

Maan: Geeeeeet, mein kya tummare Darji se shadhi karloon?

Geet: mein kya karoon? aap toh kitne maushkil se woh sare nalaayakon ko dhoondke aaye ho, meine socha mein aapka kaam thoda aasan karoon

Maan: Geet, pehle mujhe apna baat kabhi pura karne doge?

Geet: aap ko hamesha aapki baat ki padi hai, mere koi parwa nahi hai

Maan: Geeeeeeeeeeeeet chup bilkul chup

Maan closes her mouth with his finger.......

Geet freezes..... Maan looks into her eyes.....

Maan: Geet, tum meri ho, sirf meri, Maan ki Geet

Geet was expecting "I love You" from Maan....

Geet wonders whether "I Love You" is said like this in HIndi, why can't he just say directly?

Geet: toh kya? bas Maan Ki Geet, aur kuch nahi?

Geet ne toh Maan ki sare romance pe pani phel di....

Maan: toh tum koi NRI ke barein mein sochna bhi mat?

Geet: Maan sir, aapko toh "ILU" kehna bhi nahi aatha, aapko shadhi karke mein kya karoongi?

Maan: tum bas mujhse shadhi karlo Geet, phir dekhna kya hotha, tumme kuch nahi karna padega Geet, sab kuch toh MSK karega

Geet: kya karega MSK? aapne toh abhi tak ek "ILU" bhi nahi bola, toh mein kya kar sakthi thi?

Maan: toh tum koi bhi nalle se shadhi karlogi?

Geet: kay patha? aap bhi koi aasmaan ki pari ka intrezaar karthe toh?

Maan: Geet, sapnon ka Rajkumar aur Pariyon toh kahaaniyon mein hi milthe hai

Geet: aaisa kuch nahi hai, aap sache dil se chahthe toh sapnon bhi sach hotha hai

Maan: toh tummara sapnon ka Rajkumar tumme mil gaya hai kya?

Geet: milke bhi kya faida? uss DD toh ek bar bhi pyaar se "ILU" bhi nahi ketha, babaji. aaj ke sapna mein koi achche se rajkumar se milwavo, jo din mein 100 toh nahi, kam se kam ek bar toh mujhse praar se baat kare, teek hai?

Maan: Geet ye "I Love You" se kya hotha? aajkal toh koi apne pet ko bhi I love you boltha hai

Geet: mujhe patha nahi, sab kehthe haina? aap bhi kaho

Maan: sab kahan kehthe? sab muh kolne se bhi darthe hai

Maan points to Geet.....

Geet: mein nahi darthi

Maan: toh tumne tummare Darji se baat kyun nahi ki?

Geet: darji se mein baat kyun karthi?

Maan: toh kya tum sach mein uss Aman se shadhi karnewali thi?

Maan gets angry now..... iss ladhki ko kaise samabhale babaji?

Geet: Darji se aap hi baat karenge

Maan: mein kyun tummare Darji se baat karoonga?

Geet: kyun ki aap MSK ho aur mein Geet Handa hoon, samjhe aap?

Maan: mein tummara koi naukar nahi jo tummare har kaam mein hi karthe rahoon, samjhi tum?

Geet: hare meine kab kaha aap mere sevak ho? aap mere lawyer ho, toh aap ko hi baat karna padega your honor

Maan: I've already put my point your honor, meine Darji se baat karli

Geet is shocked..... : kya?

Maan: mein Maan Singh Khurana hoon, aur MSK

Geet: haan haan sabko patha hai, apni tareef badh mein karna, pehle bathao aap ne Darji se kab aur kaise baat ki? Darji ne kya kaha? aur aap ne ghar jamai banne ke liye haan kardiya na?

Geet doesn't ask him but threatens him as if Maan should not even think of saying no....

Maan: nahi, mein ghar jamai nahi ban saktha hoon

Geet: hare babaji, inko mein kaise samjaaoon? aap ko bas shadhi ke liye ek joot bolna hai, aur aap woh bhi nahi kar sakthe?

Maan: Geet, sache rishte joot se nahi dil se banthe hai

Maan pulls her into a soft hug.....

Geet: aap Darji ko nahi janthe, woh ye sab nahi samjenge

Maan: nahi Geet, tum Darji ko nahi samajthi, woh toh tummare liye hi pareshaan hai, aur hamesha tumme kush dekhna chahthe hai

Geet wonders how Maan understands everyone so well...... he is so considerate and understanding, it's just his anger and don't care attitude that makes people to misjudge him initially....

Geet looks at Maan in astonishment..... she feels very lucky to have him in her life....

Geet hugs him back tight.... : aap hamesha aaisa hi mere saath rahoge na?

Maan: ye kaisa sawaal hai Geet? ab toh mein ek pal bhi tumse dhoor nahi reh saktha hoon Geet, Geet, pehle tum meri zindagi ka ek hissa ban gayi thi, aur ab toh tum meri zindagi ban chuki ho, ab mere zindagi tum se shuru aur tum pe hi katam hothi hai Geet

Geet: Maan, I Love You

Maan: I know Geet, mujhe patha hai

Geet gets off his hold and stares him.....: aaise koi ILU ka respond kartha hai kya? isse achcha toh aap chup hi rehthe

Maan just smiles..... he puts a finger on his mouth like a kid....

Geet: sahi hai, aap ko yahi suit kartha hai, ab aaise hi kadhe raho, hilna bhi mat

so saying Geet goes out of the shade to enjoy the rain

The Resort is actually beautiful

and it was lovely seeing Maan following

so finally Maan tells Geet she belongs to him

but she wants him to say ILU

but Geet herself said the words ILU to Maan

Geet plays with the rain drops and loves the earthy smell of rain which reminds her of Hoshiarpur's fields.... there she would have Rajji and Teeto's company....

She looks back at Maan for she has got no other option.....

Geet: Maan sir, have you ever drenched in the rain?

Maan: what? why would I? I'm not that crazy, Geet you'll fall sick, come back

Geet: Maan sir, life mein kabhi toh risk lena chahiye, tabhi toh mazaa aayega

Maan: issiliye toh tummare peeche pada hoon Geet

Geet: kya?

Maan: isse bada risk mein kaise le saktha hoon?

Geet gets off Maan's waist coat and throws towards him....

Geet: ye lo aapka coat, aap ko koi risk lene ki zaroorat nahi, aap chaho toh aap jaa sakthe ho

Geet ignores him and continues to enjoy in the rain....

Maan keeps watching Geet as she keeps moving away from him....

Maan: Geet, kahan jaa rahi ho? wapas aao, Geet, suno Geet

Geet can't hear him in the sound of the rain....

Maan too wants to feel the rain but is worried to step into the muddy waters....

He moves forward and stretches his arms in the rain....

it feels so good and refreshing..... Maan is happy to that extent and is not ready to get dirty unnecessarily...

Geet who just saw him hesitating to step out goes and pulls him by catching hold of his hands....

Geet: Maan sir, aap barish se itna kyun darthe ho?

Maan: Geet, MSK kissi cheez se bhi nahi dartha

Geet: woh toh mein dekh rahi hoon

Geet starts laughing......: aap toh bachon ki tarah darthe ho

Maan: kya? MSK bachon ki tarah dartha hai?

Geet: haan, barish mein bheegne ke liye koi itna sochtha hai kya? Maan sir, kabhi toh aap ke dimag ko ek break dedo aur dil ki baat sunlo

Maan catches hold of Geet suddenly and looks deep into her eyes....

Geet is confused..... waht's wrong? Did she say something that angered him?

Maan keeps staring her in awe... these innocent looking eyes that are brutally honest and fearless no matter what happens taught him to believe in life... taught to make wishes again... to dream again... to smile and enjoy little moments like this not worrying about anything....

Maan: Geet, MSK ab dimag se nahi dil se sochtha hai, jab se tum mere zindagi mein aayi ho tab se ye MSK badal gaya, meine kabhi bhi nahi socha tha ki koi ladhki mujhe itna badal sakthi

Geet doesn't know how to react to this all emotional Maan, she is seeing this side of him for the first time.....

Maan: I Love You Geet

Maan hugs her tight......

Maan: thank you Geet for everything, aaj mujhe patha chal gaya ki har koi matlabi nahi hotha, har koi swarthi nahi hotha, aur kushi sirf apne barein mein sochne mein nahi milthi, tumne toh ek dhost ki ladayi ko apna ladayi banake aur uss ladayi mein kudh bhi jeet ke tummare dhost ko bhi jithaya hai Geet, issiliye mein tummare dhost banna chatha tha Geet, aur issiliye tummari ladayi meri ladayi ban gayi thi, aur iss ladayi ko ladthe ladthe mujhe hi patha nahi chala ki tum kab meri ban gayi aur kab meinne faisla kaiya ki tum meri ho, sirf meri, Maan ki Geet

Geet also hugs him back and rests on his shoulders with full rights, ab Geet ko puri haq hai apni Maan pe, haina babaji?

Maan ab pura ka pura Geet ka ho chuka hai.....

Maan starts sneezing continuously....

Geet: aap bhi na, zindagi mein pehli bar barish mein bheega toh aaisa hi hotha, aap ko barish ki sudh pani se allergy ho gayi?

Geet thoda pareshaan ho gayi.....

Geet takes him to back to the shade and tries to dry his hair with her duppatta.....

Maan: Geet, ye tum kya kar rahi ho? Maan sneezes again.....

Geet: aap chup raho, pehle apne bal sukhao

Maan: Geet, ye duppatta already wet hai

Geet: toh mein kya karoon? aap yahan aao

Geet takes him to the fire.....

Geet tries to unbutton his shirt....

Maan: Geet, ye tum kya kar rahi ho?

Geet: hare shirt utharo

Maan: Geet, mein samaj saktha hoon, ye barish, ye tande hawa, aur MSK saath ho toh koi abla nari kya kar sakthi? lekhin Geet, yahan? aur iss waqt?

Maan teases Geet..... he starts sneezing again.....

Geet: mein bhi kisski madat karna chahthi thi? aap na, aaise hi cheekthe raho, mujhe kya?

Geet turns to the other side....

Maan turns her towards him.... he lifts her chin.....

Maan: Geet, tum naraaz hothi toh aur bhi hot lagthi ho

Geet: hot? aap ka dimag sach mein karab ho gaya

Maan forcefully tries to sneeze again.....

Maan goes shirtless.... Geet tummara kurtha bhi gheela hai.... tumme bhi tand lag jayegi....

Maan is in full mood....

Geet: aap pagal ho gaye ho

Maan: woh toh mein kab ka ho chuka hoon Geet, tummare pyaar mein pagal

Geet moves a few steps away from Maan as she is little scared....

Maan: kya hua Geet? MSK se tum darthe ho?

Geet remains silent....

Maan: Geet, tum itne chup kyun ho gayi ho?

Maan pretends to be ignorant and he moves closer to her....

water droplets from her hair drop on her pink lips and Maan wants to savor them....

he slowly wipes off the water drops off her soft lips as Geet gasps....

Maan takes his waist coat and covers Geet.........

Maan: darne ki koi zaroorat nahi Geet

Geet nods her head....: mein aapse nahi darthi

Geet pauses and is unable to face Maan......

Maan puts on his shirt and looks out.... the rain has resided....

Maan: Geet, ab toh humme chalna chahiye

Maan walks in the front while Geet follows at a safe distance .....

Maan thinks that it's enough for the day or poor Geet would never come with him alone again.....

Geet thoda dar gayi.... she doesn't interact much with Maan while they return....

Geet silent mode pe chali gayi....

Maan has finally found out what's in Geet's mind....

Darji ne teek kaha ki Geet Maan se hi apne mann ki baat kar sakthi....

Ye Darji bahut chalaak hai..... pura kaam Maan se hi karwayenge hai kya?

Aaise Darji ne Maan se kya baat kiya hai? going back to the morning....

This morning Maan woke up very early for he was so disturbed and restless as he knows that there is no time to waste or else he has to forget about Geet forever....

Maan thinks to get out in the fresh air as he feels suffocated thinking about the same things again and again....

darji also has the habit of waking early and is waiting for the morning tea....

Nakul is on his way with the tea....

Darji finds Maan wandering in the garden and calls Maan to come join him for tea....

Maan goes and sits with Darji....

Darji: app ko bahut bahut shukriya bete, aapne kal Geet ke saath diya tha warna patha nahi Geet akhele kya karthi

Maan: Geet abhi choti bachi nahi hai, woh apna khyaal rakh sakthi hai, kal mein nahi hotha toh Geet taxi se ghar wapas aathi

Darji: woh kal raat bahut dher ho gayi kya? mein toh Geet se milne se pehle hi so gaya

Maan wonders then how does Darji know that Aman stoop up Geet....

Maan: toh aapko kaise patha chala ki Geet akhele thi?

Darji: woh Aman se baat hui thi, usne maafi bhi manga tha

Maan: toh aap Geet ko bathaye kyun nahi?

Darji: Aman ne kaha wahi Geet se bhi baat karkega aur maafi bhi mangna chahtha tha Geet se

Maan: aapko Geet ki chintha nahi hui kya? aap ne toh Geet se poocha bhi nahi ki woh kya karegi?, kaise wapas aayegi?

Darji: mein kyun chintha kartha? Geet aap ke saath thi na, aap ne hi Geet ko itne din sambala haina? ek din aur sambalne se kya farak padtha?

Maan: waise aap ko kyun ghar jamai chahiye?

Darji: kyun poochthe ho? aap ke nazar mein koi achcha ladka hai kya?

Maan: aapko ghar jamai toh nahi milega

Darji: ek Aman chala gaya toh kya? apne desh mein ladhkon ki koi kami nahi hai

Maan: phir aapne NRI ladhke ko kaise chuna?

Darji: woh, tab mujhe laga achcha ladhka hai toh NRI bhi cahlega, Geet ko bhi iss shadi se koi dikkat nahi thi, toh mein Geet ki kushi le liye kuch bhi kar saktha

Maan: aap Geet se baat kyun nahi karthe ki usski kushi kahan hai?

Darji: hummare beech mein baaton ki zaroorat nahi hothi, mein toh apni Geet ki isharon se hi uski mann ki baat ko samaj saktha hoon, lekhin iss bar lagtha hai ki Geet bhi koi faisla nahi le payi, ab toh mujhe hi kuch karna padega, mujhe lagtha hai ki Geet aap se khul ke baat karthi hai, aap Geet se baat kyun nahi karthe?

Maan: mein?

Darji: Geet aaj kal mujh se zyada aap pe barosa karthi, shayad woh aap ko apni mann ki baat thodi aasaani se kar payegi

Maan: haan, mujhe pehle Geet se baat karna chahiye

Darji: mein kal Hoshiarpur jaa raha hoon, usse pehle baat karlo

Maan: ji

yahi baat hui Darji aur Maan ke beech mein.......

Maan ko ek baat toh confirm ho gayi ki Darji ko Geet aur Maan ke rishthe pe shak hai.....
