Today's episode completely had my heart 💔 Kanikka, Mohit, and Jay need to take a bow!
LOL the first scene was so funny - I knew bechara Bunty will have to face this some day 😆 But Shravan's dream ☺️ that pull on her waist and then staring game was kinda hawt...screen was on fire!!
Ok now getting to the confrontation scene. Suman handled it perfectly and with so much maturity. I think what she did was right because she wants to be clear with her intentions with him and doesn't want to lead him on or give him false hope which would result in a bigger heartbreak. But even though she doesn't see him more than a friend, it was difficult for her to have this conversation with him because she doesn't want to hurt him...she cares so much for him to an extent that maybe she is not even aware of. It'll be completely worth the wait to see Suman slowly falling for Shravan. The care in her eyes to make sure he's not hurt or the fear that he doesn't want to continue the friendship was so evident. I really liked the dialogue she said, "Sahi ho toh sorry mat bolo. Sahi ho toh kabhi mat jhuko". I think this dialogue will have significance in the future. Kanikka totally slayed this scene! Mark my words, Suman's love will be so passionate and selfless that even Shravan will be in for a surprise. It will be interesting to see how Suman, a person who doesn't think about love, falls for Shravan, a boy who is completely opposite of her. But, I have a feeling that Suman will not confess her love for Shravan before the leap (just seeing the pattern of the PH)...she might fall for him but won't confess because of the consequences (family, career, etc.) so it might be a "silent love" from her side which I feel like would suit Suman's character.
Shravan has set the bar so high for ITV ML...and I expected no less from him ❤️ He didn't turn into a psycho saiyaan upon friendzoning...instead he respected her wishes and masked his true hurt feelings only because he understood that she was aware of his feelings and didn't want to see him sad. He knew that if he gets sad in front of her, she might feel guilty. Mohit was perfect in this scene - the sad smile, the broken look in his eyes, the crack in his voice, and how he tried to act happy by jumping in a puddle. At first, I didn't feel bad for Shravan because he also broke Devika's heart but his internal monologue "tum mujhse dosti chahti ho aur main sirf tumhari khushi. Ab main wohi banunga jo tum chahti ho" proved that Shravan truly loves Suman and that it's not infatuation. Devika didn't love Shravan but for Suman, Shravan is willing to put aside his feelings for the sake of their friendship. I think we are starting to see that change and maturity in Shravan now. He will commit to the friendship wholeheartedly because he values Suman and not the "idea of her". This scene reminded me of the quote:
I'm really happy that the PH showed this track and handled the scene so gracefully. Movies and books have drilled this idea that one-sided love is bad and that the person who rejected is terrible and doesn't deserve their love and blah blah. But, the reality is....just because you like someone doesn't mean that they are obligated like you back...no matter how good of a person you are. They don't need to give you an explanation of why they don't like you back. You can't force someone to love you because in the end neither of you will be happy.
Bunty is so precious and needs to be protected at all costs ❤️ literally Shravan is so lucky to have him in his life. TBH I cringe a little when Shravan calls Suman his "best friend" because in reality, it's Bunty who is his real bestie...he has stuck with him through thick and thin and genuinely cares about him no matter what. I literally got teary-eyed when Shravan hit Bunty out of frustration and immediately regretted it and started tending to his eye. Even then, Bunty stayed and didn't storm out because he knew Shravan needed him. TBH I did feel kinda sad, seeing Shravan cry and bring out his true emotions that he couldn't in front of Sumo. This is what makes Shravan different too....he's sensitive and when he's hurt, he cries and I think it's so nice that Shravan's character has been shaped up as this emotional and gentle boy.
Precap: He is confessing his feelings to her...I don't think this is a dream. I think maybe he will say that he wants to start the friendship without any lies and will confess but then will follow it up like "but it's not your problem...it's mine. I'll get over it and promise that it won't come between our friendship". I think Suman will be very affected by this because she'll get to see a "selfless" side of Shravan which will draw her towards him. But, I think we will see a different Shravan now - still happy-go-lucky but maybe a bit more cautious and hopefully focused. This heartbreak was very necessary for him because boy was a lovesick puppy on cloud 9 24/7 and had to be shown reality so his character can have some growth. This was hands-down the BEST episode till date ❤️
