Just a friendly reminder to everyone upset with Abir today:
-To those that feel that Abir's character has been ruined, because he is asking/insinuating/implying/suggesting (whatever verb you want to use here) Mishti should back down, apologise to Kuhu....
*disclaimer: Yes I know, the situations are very different. Yes I know the blame on Mishti (before) was made to look genuine and logical with BB clever planning. Yes I know the current issue is much more problematic due to Kuhu's constant unnecessary blame-game & Mishti small MU.
BUT please!
I request you to think about this og mishbir 1.0 moment:
-Here, Abir knew that something was definitely wrong. Mishti could never have made such a blooper with the party time & date, she wouldn't risk such a thing for both families. He doubts that BB is playing another game, but has no evidence for it yet. So he tries to get a better understanding by talking to Mishti herself - which twists out of control due to Kunal 1.0 standard reaction after hearing half-conversation and making assumptions.
-Here again, we see Varsha and BM and Kuhu pleading with Mishti to apologise to the RV family, especially Meenu for the mishap, which clearly in Mishti p.o.v was not a mistake at all, she is sure that she heard BB say the party was the next day.
-After a small tiff with Kuhu, Mishti retorts back asking "would you do the same, if you were in my position?" and she walks off.
-However, just the sight of Abir at the doors, and their silent ankhon baatein - they understand each other's feelings. Despite the absence of dialogues, we still understand the ishaara that Abir gives Mishti in regards to her behaviour. And so we see, Mishti go to apologise to Meenu though no fault of hers. Mishti is willing to give up her fighting spirit and stance because, she didn't want to cause any further problems between the families, given how much Abir especially has done to make this kuku rishta happen (as she explains to him later). THIS is exactly what Abir and Mishti are still like now.
***Please note here, he neither verbally nor indirectly tells her to apologise. That is why we see him surprised when she does so and even calls her out on it later outside Mah house in their car ride. I repeat again, Abir did not ask her to apologise to BB. He simply gave her the notion that, leaving the party, leaving the situation after arguing with Kuhu etc will only worsen the situation. So he tries to indicate that she should RE-THINK and reconsider her choices. That's it.
- That is pretty much the same type of approach we see Abir using in the current situation. He knows, he confirms and accepts that Mishti is right, because this time he knows how Kuhu reacted was wrong and Mishti is right in her stand. However, it is the way in which Mishti is approaching the situation, which is making Abir worried. He can already sense how volatile and damaging another continuation of the fight will be, and detriment the house/family. That's why he tries to get her to calm down and RE-THINK her approach to this situation. Which mishti understands and so tries to call the magazine editors (unfortunately effort goes in vain). That is why later on, Mishti's sudden unexpected extra angry avatar throws Abir off completely. He wasn't expecting this kind of outburst from angry chorni at all. Mishti has misunderstood and assumed Kuhu dobbing on her with Varsha & BM - she has valid reasons to assume that, but still it was wrong because it was untrue. That's why Abir feels that the 2nd fight between the sisters that become out of control, could have been clearly avoided - i.e Mishti didn't have to start that.
- If we follow a similar trajectory of that parallel sequence. Remember the moment when Mishti is about to apologise to Meenu, BP steps up and cleverly manages the situation, by both keeping Meenu's dignity and ego in place, whilst protecting and defending Mishti's rights as well. I'm hoping we will get to see a good tashan between BB and BP tomorrow (or soon at least, bohut time hogay yaar🤔) especially after her dhamki in the pre-cap. It will be even better to see both BP and Abir this time, standing in support of Mishti, when Kuhu, Varsha, Jas or BB begin pointing fingers at Mishti again.
Last note: Mishbir back then were not married, and not even an official couple, just simply good friends. IF they were able to understand each other's feelings without even one dialogue and just with a few long seconds of eye-contact ---- surely the current situation can't be worse right? Come on, for once they are actually communicating properly to each other about their viewpoints and feelings (unlike pre-lockdown, they trying to listen to each other). You can't expect them to come to an agreement or find a solution overnight. This is what complicated family dynamics are like.
They are human after all - so let them have flaws
They are (supposed) to be normal couple after all - so let them bicker, let them patch-up, make-up with some extra coffee maybe?😉😛😳
All said and done....the writing has been inconsistent and poor ever since mishbir shaadi. But nevertheless, given what the current situation is, I personally am decently happy with how they are showing mishbir dealing with this issue so far.
No use in predicting, stressing out and assuming all kinds of things about the future track, or next episode.
Just take it as it comes. You like it, then great, If you don't then leave it. That's it simple. No need to break heads and fight horns for a show.
Sorry for an extra long rant today. Just felt like voicing out a few things after all the commotion.
phew...
done😊
