Yeah Kangana doesn't hide behind a PR..and that is where it initially was refreshing to hear a Bollywood actor speak up. It still is. However, her way of doing it just seems so bitter and vile at this point. Imagine a teenager who is depressed and is listening to her bullshit and then deciding not to tell anyone about their depression in case someone thinks that they are crazy or thinking that depression will make them incapable of functioning in the society...Imagine how terrifying it must be for them....

Idiots like Kangna do not realize that still in India...how big of a taboo depression or any mental related illness is...people try to not tell anyone in case people will think that they are crazy...in rural India Psychiatrists are still called pagalon ke doctor..

Idiots like Kangna and her cronies do not understand how important it is for celebrities like Deepika or Anushka to come out and say..hey I had depression...and its OK to have it...u can cure it...that is how depression will not be a taboo any more when people will realize that successful people like Deepika and Anushka had it...and they are fine..they are not pagal....that is why its important that celebrities come and talk about mental awareness whenever they can...especially important for the young people who are suffering from depression more now...how many cases of suicide have we heard in the last 4-5 months??

What I find disturbing is how WHILE being on the side of justice (or so we hope..), she is also misinforming people on national tv, and on such a sensitive topic. Let's also remember that the common person is on the justice for Sushant side. However, not everyone is educated on mental health. So, you're trying to believe Kangana because she is on the side of "justice for SSR" but how does the common person then process her comments on depression? They might also associate "paagal" with depression or whatever else...which is only fueling the stigma.

I also say the above because I was watching Kangana's interview in my living room earlier..on YouTube. And my mom was in the kitchen and she obviously heard Kangana's commentary on depression..and guess what? She came out and at one point passed a remark saying yeah see then people end up calling you "paagal." So, there you go...

Kangana is crass and there's no other way to put it politely. I remember a time when the likes of Barkha Dutt were going gaga over her just because Hrithik was at the receiving end of her rants. I remember a time when she was given plenty of space even in media outlets who aren't so blatantly right wing. At the time she was being hailed as someone who was righteous and all things wonderful. None of these people who are now speaking out against her had the gall to question some of what she was stating as "facts". It's that behavior from the very media that now sees her antics for what they are that has emboldened her to a degree where she legit believes she can get away with her bigoted and nonsensical rants. These people have made a mockery of mental health. On one hand you have therapists breaching client confidentially and the media condoning it and then on the other you have the likes of Kangana targeting Deepika just because Deepika doesn't fit their "image" of what depression can look like. What a mess. And then you have the hypocisy of folks who have an issue with Kangana (rightly so) but were more than happy condoning that sham of a therapist who breached client confidentiality. If you give a damn about mental health as a cause then your outrage shouldn't be selective.

These people and their petty BS. There's Naseer saab on one hand trying to make a point but then ends up labeling her as "half educated". As if her education is the problem here. Plenty of "half educated" people are decent individuals and plenty of so called "fully educated" people are elitist and vile to say the least. Education has nothing to do with what Kangana is doing here.

This industry apparently can't make their points without resorting to vile remarks about each other. What a circus.

I am no fan of Deepika's, her depression posts after Sushant's death was cringe because of the timing however it does not mean she was never depressed or she faked it. No one knows what she went through & no one has the right to question why she seems normal now. Just because she coped up does not mean she never had it at all. Kangana is just so vile an evil and i dont know how people even support a person like her!
