That exactly is my question........ is the show more to do with "showmanship/popularity" rather than ability. In my view AP is as good as judges Damle/Bela/Salil when it comes to ability and far better in ability than any of the expected contestants/mentors.

Absolutely true. I do not blame AP for accepting this show for obvious financial reasons. After all it is not that he is getting a bunch of opportunities in acting in Marathi industry. So, he has to accept whatever comes his way. But, channel could have utilised him better by being a judge or at least a mentor.

In a way i remember here the first season of SNDN, where Vaishali Made was one of the participants and she was already much accomplished singer in Marathi and Hindi film industry and much better than other competitors Eventually, Vaishali quit the show mid-way giving some personal reason.

Lets see if AP does the same thing. Else, he will be much ahead of competition.

This show has actors competing as singers. I don't think it matters how well you're trained, as far as youre entertaining and bringing in views and TRP.

The actor who brings in maximum views, will win.

I like how people have already declared finalists and who's worthy to be whose mentor even before a single episode is aired.
