Getting along is different and actually caring about someone is different. He got along well with her because she is fun and naughty and entertaining and both of them like troubling pranati and he needed them both for his own benefit so it's easier when you can atleast get along with one of them. He has never shown an emotion towards her per se. Even when jugnu was talking about how she used to get beaten up by people she worked under,he showed no emotion. Only pranati did. So far with respect to caring and showing emotion towards jugnu,he was on let's say a scale 2 and then suddenly he goes to a 10? I mean even till last episode it was shown that he cares for pranati so kept warning her about his family when it's equally or even more harmful for his daughter but he never spoke about her. They could have atleast shown him have some emotion when people called his child illegitimate.

Yeah I understand that Kunal is really good in intense scenes but it should also make sense to an extent

They do have a good bond.

Why some people here think Rey doesn't have any fatherly affection for Jugnu, that is just liking coz of their same nature . In court His expressions were worth watching.He was in guilt.Even when they hadn't bonded well or got chance to spend time.

In Hospital He was scared of giving blood.But when She woke up His reaction was cheerful,full of emotions. He couldn't express Himself like Prani

X and 0s was His favorite time pass with Prani during collage days.He always won.But willingly lost to His daughter. Jugnu's stuff with bear bottles had been scattered here n there in His room. But that sketch He kept safely.

When Jugnu was telling Him that how orphanage matron used to torture kids His eyes n facial expressions were enough to conway His feelings.He is weak at words when comes to Heart.His outer shell makes Him out spoken to show He is very selfish. But real Him is introvert.

But today His fatherly instinct came out after whatever happened with Jugnu. Till now there was not a single incident where His whole focus was on Jugnu. But when His daughter got humiliated and in danger.He came out from that shell suddenly.And Archit became victim of His wrath.This incident changed whole scenario He has covered a distance from Teri Beti to Meri Beti .This is natural not fake.

There is no drama to be in good books of Prani. They were literary getting over nerves if someone thinks it was for Prani. But that was a father whose daughter is missing with a man whose sister got ditched and both r in love with same girl.

Love and affection of a teen mom n well established working woman towards Her child is same.But in case of a man it bit different. He is young man in His 20s ,even wasn't aware of His daughter's existence. So what we can expect from Him.Top of it a play boy n irresponsible to be a family man.

Even in the starting His concern towards kids was reflected. When Jugnu made Him fool making excuse of Her weak financial condition.He gave Her expensive bottles. He could have given money but as per His mind set How he felt He helped Her.Coz He wasn't taught How to help people in need.

When He messes with Prani on some serious or personal matters He always makes sure that Jugnu remains away from all.

So long essay here. An observation from a fiction writer's view. As I am writing since 10 years and co incidentally my readers love ffs on this topic. I love characters like Rey n Prani. One who couldn't express themselves and hard to explore n other expressive n open book

But characters like Rey always attract me mysterious n couldn't be explored easily. Especially played by my favorite ones

It is always challenging to mould original plot as per expectations of readers/ viewers.On screen for script writers to get TRP

being a writer myself characters like rey who is so layered with shades and mask with an outer layer full of live is a difficult task to write but interesting and gosh reyansh khurana is an amazingly written character and such character just intrigues who has dual personnality one for the world and one for himself

No one is questioning reyaansh love for jugnu...

I really like the way he confront dadi... There was anger in this eyes still he ask calmly .. It's really created great impact..

During archit confronted...

When archit open the door he started beating archit without even asking. He was so sure archit is behind all this mess.

Even when archit got to know that jugnu was kidnap... Reyaansh told aache banane ki natak maat kar something like this... Which I feel was extremely wrong.. (Just my opinion)...

Same goes for archit too... Reyaansh kaliye jo anger tha woh sab uss moment mein baar aa gaya... Pranati ko bhi usne bohot kuch bola....

Pranati ro raha hai ek side mein aur ye dono collar padekar tum tum mein mein khel rahe hai...
