To the topic .. he went there to complete lal Singh's shooting ., And why is if so strange that Turkey first lady met him , He's not some small star that he'll just go out there and it wouldn't be noticed by that country's higher-ups.

Modi is their own Prime Minister and it becomes really complicated. It's very hard to avoid him if he invites them do something. There are a lot of internal pressures.

But Erdogan is easily avoided. Lots of big stars have filmed in Turkey and not met him or his family. In Aamir, they found an idiot who agreed.

I personally don't think showing up to whitewash Netanyahu is correct either but bhakts support his murderous regime so they will be fine with it. The bhakt channels like Republic and Times Now will support any Netanyahu event obviously.

But celebs in general are better off avoiding controversial politicians no matter whether they are right wing or left wing.

What Aamir did is really inappropriate. Erdogan is a dictator hated by 3/4 of the world. Filming in the country is no issue - Turkey is beautiful and a great film location. But cozying up to people like the Erdogans helps to whitewash them and influences people to make them think they are normal.

There is no reason that he needed to do this. I can't even think of why he would. 🤢
