Modi is their own Prime Minister. Kind of hard to avoid even if they dislike him, isn't it? They were there allegedly for a Mahatma Gandhi event but they are not bootlickers in the way Akshay Kumar is.

Aamir outright fought with Modi when he was the Gujarat CM and then said his wife is afraid in India and wants them to leave the country (obv due to RW policies). I think he has a right to complain about anything within his country as a citizen. But you can't go suck up to politicians who are against the country in the rest of the world. It helps Erdogan's propaganda so much to have Indian celebs endorsing him like this. There is a line that needs to be maintained.

He also has to understand that rightfully or wrongfully, as a prominent Indian Muslim, what he does affects the other Muslims in India too. Not only does he make them more trusting of people like Erdogan but he also makes them pariahs in India because people will think they are like Aamir too. The other two Khans are already getting dragged because of him. The same happens to ones that are not famous amongst their own circles.

It's possible her fan made the post because of her but Aamir has been dragged badly long before Kangana said anything about it. She just jumped on a trending topic. She picks popular things and gets her own PR out of it.

No offense but this looks like a clean-up operation by the Indian government to make it look like they weren't caught unaware.

It's bizarre that Turkey would be the first to report this. If the Indian govt already knew, they would have put out the news before it happened that Aamir was going to go meet them.

Such people are partly responsible for the RW getting away with calling anti BJP people as anti nationals. People are tarred with the same brush because a few outspoken critics go out cozying up with anti India regimes. It is widely covered in media outlets of all affiliations that Turkey is trying to formet trouble in India..and yet he does this. Credibility of people genuinely interested in making India a safe country will take a hit due to the two faced behavior of so called stars
