abir feeds her ladoo n gives her a present... mish opens it... a cute kanhaji... mish says its cute and abir asks where does it fit n mish says in janmashtami pooja n goes to show to family... abir says abir tumhari kismaat ladoo jaise hai will i make this girl understand...

mish shows it to parul maasi, and says she will make arrangements for janmashtami, maasi saysbut kuhu is doing, meenu says no problem both girls will do together... mish assures that yes we both wont fight too... kuhu too comes there n agrees...

kunal says haan bcoz only mish will do the arrangement... meenu says if you both have any plan for tomorrow please cancel...

kunal says actually the thing is they have selected me as business man of the year so they are coming to interview us... me n mish completes kuhu.... everyone gets happy...

abir says nice, awesome...

kunal asks what happen... abir says you are getting business man of the year but what am i getting, even i do work but no one sees that... kunal assures him that he will cancel the interview... kuhu says but my wish to come in a magazine... abir says bro is that more important than my disappointment...

I don't think it's that confusing or weird.

This is how I look at it...

First we got Mishti's dream of godhbarai - obviously it was so far fetched given her anxiety + panic attacks,

And now we got Abir's dream of the 'good news'....

The way I see/understand mishbir thought process is - they just want to be happy, and live in peace together (and the family), and for them happiness, love and peace starts and ends with each other but also their FAMILY has a huge role. Hence starting their own family, means a whole lot to them. They dream like this, because ultimately that's what they want. They want to live their lives in love, harmony and peace.

Just because they haven't physically consummated, doesn't mean you cannot or it's weird to dream of moments like this. I'm sure these dreams are just indications of future tracks, and we will get there eventually through some sweet romantic scenes.

These dreams are not weird in my opinion. It is still very much in character. It's just funny for us to analyse and troll.
