What gets my goat is comparisons between pre COVID and post lockdown TRPs and comparisons between shows like ramayan which was a BIG DEAL in the 80s and 90s and current fiction shows.

As for Star Plus, they will be watching their backs and probably might swap slots back to 10pm for YRHPK and 9pm for Anupama. Best to hold on to a big star like Shaheer and a producer like RS. Just saying coz Star India need to look at themselves as well considering Disney has just axed 20 foreign channels. So SP need to depend on goodwill right now or else no producer will want to make shows for a channel that might be in trouble with their parent company worldwide. As much as I think that if Star has to bear cuts then channels like star bharat, star utsav, star gold and star world will go before star plus.

I highly doubt if they would be willing to take a risk with Anupama when the show is doing exceedingly well at the current slot.

Glancing thru episodes of YJHJK and KZK, I actually felt these shows do not have much substance going for them, no wonder for KZK even the actors on board now want to quit. YRHPK in that sense is still a show with more potential.

Anyhoo, regardless of what the future holds the fact that so many of us feel so keenly about this show is <3

They thought the same for YRHPK and look at the result. There is no guarantee that people who watch it at 10pm will also watch it at 9pm. They wouldn’t risk moving Anupamaa out of 10pm.

Running a low TRP show is problematic for the PH as well. So if TRPs don’t improve, expect drastic measures like big time leaps with horrendous twists or axe.

Let them show whatever; I am not a writer; or producer or channel head. I cannot control any future tracks or any twists or them axing the show.

All i know is if SP is upset about a show with TRP 1.1 then it best also be upset with shows of TRPs 1.2, 1.3. 1.4, 1.5 etc.

However like i said, none of this is in my control. I cannot go to every house in India and ask them to watch YRHPK; neither can i stop SP from axing it.

I do not even know what I can say on this forum anymore..

All i know is that the viewership of Anupama is different. The same people that watch Anupama are most likely the same people who watch KDB. So the channel perhaps thought that the viewership would be divided. Then the RA fans and Kaveri-Ritwik jodi fans most likely do not watch the show anymore. So that is a chunk of the audience gone. I do not know how many fans Avinash has and if there are fans of the Kaveri-Avinash jodi.

I personally did not like the murder mystery, PTSD track, However, there are many here who watched it. However there have been good episodes for the last 1.5 weeks but once the audience is lost it is hard to bring them back.

Oh well...like i said none of us can change anything..

Agreed. But 1.1 being the lowest would mean first attention is going to be towards this show. Moreover time slots matter too. So yeah.
