Going by the word responsibility..I don't find it odd kate.. because for a husband..wife is his responsibility...so this much fuss about it..? He accepted the fact that she is related via him to his house...but not ready to give that name 'wife' for the relation Maybe he finding it odd to think a kid is his wife...or maybe he accepted but denying when someone instigate him..! Otherwise he is kind of okay with it..! As bon realised that patibabu is angel to her..so does ani will realise what bon is for him...the expectation he has for his life partner..she has everything in it...They will grow up together and will realise their relationship and fall for eachother and fight all society stereotypes together..! But it's a long process we need to be quite patient ☺️
Definitely Ani will take that place of parididi in bon's life..as bon told min today that she no longer need her help..it's kind off symbolic that bon will not go to parididi about her problem definitely not after the embarrassment..bon is smart enough to find the odd things and will surely connect the dots..!

Bold-I too feel you are right. He has a fight between his heart and mind. His heart accepts Bon as his wife ,but not his mind. When in anger the things in our hearts come out as we speak without thinking and that's why he always in situations like that he said ,she is his wife. Mini, means kuch nahi.
But when he cools down he still struggles with his mind. Which shows his morals, his way of thinking.
But what he blurt out was writer's blunder not his words. He was never a man of two words. It's okay if he thinks she is as a responsibility as wife is always husband 's responsibility .
But not the cringy part and the green signal gave to Mini. It was solely writer's blunder.
