People have nothing better to do than shame young girls for their looks. Maybe if the world was a kinder place then these girls won't feel the need to alter themselves so much physically. Shame on the trolls, not the girls

Since when did being trolled become a global issue for celebrities? Talk about grasping at straws to evoke undeserved sympathy for something literally every single celebrity in the world goes through.

they may get trolled but they also get equally get a lot of love for their looks. more love than hate whereas it's different for J and K. everyone deserves sympathy for bullies, as long as they are not hurting anyone, which I am assuming these girls are not.

What do you expect people to do? People will always be people when it comes to celebrities, they don't discriminate.

Everyone knows how Janhvi and Khushi looked before the surgery. Now they're both posing as the next top model and doing vogue covers, etc with their perfectly chiseled face with all the resources at their fingertips. And you expect people to what? Gush over their looks? Fair enough, even that is being done by plenty of people. But you can't have it all. Trolls will always be there. Since when did these bollywood celebrities let trolls and the garbage they spew dictate their lives?

And then there are people like Alia and the Bhatt family using "bullying" as a way to cop out of meaningful, legit criticisms from people over the world.

You wanna feel sorry for someone? Feel sorry for those who are running out of food to feed their kids. Sorry I don't feel sorry here.

Yes Bollywood and their bad nose jobs.

firstly I don't expect people to gush over their looks. I don't think trolls do anyone a favour either - You troll the celeb and girls with similar features get insecure about themselves and can't do anything to fix It either because they know they will face trolling for changing that as well.

They don't let the trolls dictate their lives and thank God for that, you would think after SSR's demise people would be a bit kinder but nope.

Mahesh B deserves the criticism coming his way, never defended him in any manner. Also never ever compare one's difficulty to another. someone will always have it worse than another, that doesn't give us the right to be mean to others and put down the feelings of others. instead of trolling girls for getting surgery why don't you go do something for those who are going through so much hardship. Of course, I will more and more sorry for those facing much bigger difficulties at this time whether it's those in Lebanon, or Yemen or the rest of the world in fact however this does not give us a go card to troll people for no reason and hurt their feelings. you are obviously in a more privileged situation than those who can't afford food, does that mean your feelings or problems don't matter at all??

'Amen! I don't either. They could feed an entire family in India for a month with the amount they put into altering themselves and subjecting themselves to dangerous surgeries they don't need.

My problems matter to me and I'm mindful about who I sympathize with. Alia/Janhvi/Khushi don't fall under that list. They're just bollywood celebrities to me who are overly ambitious about gaining "stardom" through whatever means possible. When they are in a dire situation, give me call and I'll be there with bells on. But whining about internet trolls and their remarks over their looks, which is what they cash in on? PLEASE!

Give me one reason why I should feel sorry for them over internet trolls who everyone knows are just bored souls who have nothing better to do? Compassion is there, I felt sorry for Janhvi and Khushi when they lost their mother, may she RIP! They should use the tools available to them to deal with trolls cuz they're the ones who are chasing stardom in a world that's overly saturated with social media.

Relativity does matter cuz we certainly don't live in a vacuum. As far as I'm concerned, there are much more pressing issues than who called Janhvi a "plastic doll" for the 100th time on instagram. It's not like no one had seen it coming either. People are just coming up with any excuse to garner sympathy now, I swear!

exactly there are more pressing issues so rather than focusing on what a young girl chooses to do with her face, with her money, invest your energy elsewhere e.g. the treatment of minorities in India, is a good starting point. there is no excuse for you to pull women down, it's unnecessary and doesn't make you a better person in any manner.

irrespective of the fact how 'dangerous' these surgeries may be, it's their face and their money. and in no way do you any excuse to pull women down for what they choose to do with their looks. it's 2020 and people are still pulling people down for what they choose to do their faces.

i do believe it is important for them as celebs, however, to donate money to those in need. but that still doesn't excuse you for trolling them for getting surgeries

I'll be honest. Janhvi and Khushi needed the nose job to pass off as remotely goodlooking for bollywood. Have you seen their pics from before? 😆

They can do whatever they want, of course, cuz it's their money and their face. A lot of people opt for surgeries, etc, it's not a big deal. But honestly, this entire "please be kinder" movement couldn't get any more ridiculous. Firstly these same people are the ones to preach "hey world is not a bed of roses" while talking about SSR cuz they are sure he committed suicide. But when it's time to deflect criticisms off those who have been milking the system for all its flaws, they turn around and ask people to be "compassionate." I'm like ... err... ermm.. okay, how about you first make up your mind.
