Superstar entry and he just made me fall in love

SRK had a good run, but the movies he's been doing since Om Shanti Om have taken his career downhill.

He needs to do a movie with Shahid where they're bothers with an insane family drama and sibling rivalry, with a vibe and setting like Virasat. I'll take anyone from Rani, Preity or Kareena paired with SRK and Shahid with Kiara or heck, even his own wife--only because I don't want the likes of alia or ananya anywhere near this movie.

He's the true example of what you call ' a self made ' man.

Forever be the one actor that I loved truly.

He must be a true badass to make it in such a huge way with literally nothing and no one behind him...his parents weren’t even around when he debuted. No backup, no fall back options, barely any emotional support too.

In terms of emotional support I'd have to disagree with the word "barely". He had Gauri backing him wholeheartedly but also to keep him grounded.

Obviously he was lacking parental support but in some strange way I think their loss spurred him on further as he said he wanted to be so huge that his mum could see him from heaven. Obviously everyone has their own beliefs regarding afterlife etc but I think that very thought kept him working hard.

Shahrukh and Amitabh are great examples of outsiders making it big because of hardwork. Shahrukh got lucky and received blessings of Yash Chopra and Karan Johar who played a huge role in making his career. Most of hits are from Yash Raj Films and Dharma Production.

BUT, all those maneuvers can help set it up. One needs to do that hard work and create the audience pull.

One thing to learn from both of them is how to deal with people. I think they know who can benefit them and who can't, and choose wisely. Personal charisma helps reel in others.
