Alia's career is never going to be the same again. She's hit the Parineeti stage where everyone hailed her for the first few years but her acting got worse and worse. It's better to start off as a bad actor and then slowly improve. Coming fully formed means that you have nowhere to go afterwards.

Worst of all, it happened at the same time as the backlash from Sushant so there is nothing to save her. The neutral audience is lost and she never had a die-hard fanbase. None of the actresses do.

Now the shine is off her and it's never going to come back no matter what they do. They won't be able to hand her awards either. She will survive and keep on getting movies but the prestige factor is gone.

I don't have any problem with SLB but I hate it how he promotes his movies. He starts from the day he starts casting; he keeps bombarding us with ridiculous articles till the film releases. He did it during his last three coz I guess he was confident about the end products. But for Gangu, koi bhi trick kaam nahin aa rahi thi. Even SLB PR has given up on this.

Its a movie by MAHESH BHATT - people disliking the movie are also pissed because of his insensitive comments about Sushant and his relationship and support for Rhea. Who is under investigation as she’s allegedly behind Sushants death but make this about ALia too. THIS is why people are frustrated.

I was neutral towards alia who is over hyped before Sushant demise but not anymore she dont deserve what she is getting.

Hyping a mediocre is same as snatching the oppurtunity of the real talent. Hopefully atleast now audience should encourage movies based on talent rather than hype and PR stunts

Agree Indian people are experts at over reacting. What will happen if some of their family member became a victim of mob lynching or molestation. This happens during any riots. Women, old and children face the maximum punishment during any instability.

People blindly believe any forwarded message as truth and are ready to fight. I really wish this pandemic ends and everybody gets super busy.

I partly do and dont cos she isnt the only nepotism kid just to hold responsible for how this BW world and nepo is, and also her winning best actress for gully boy was absolutely ridiculous which is another added reason which the dislike is coming from last year.
