It's a huge investment. They had big plans to shoot in Italy. That's not happening soon thanks to COVID. I'm sure Kareena isn't doing any heavy duty shooting for this year and another 6 months after her baby is born. That's 1 year gone. Post that people should be ready to put that much money and the cast should be having dates. Lots of ifs and buts involved.

People disliked the trailer of Sadak mainly for Sushant but let's be honest, it was bad in quality too. If he got Kriti or Tapsee or someone like that, there would be less hate. Or he can introduce a new girl. Make a big fuss about finding someone new - put out advertisements for anyone that wants to audition. Do some media hype about how Dharma is looking for an outsider. People would give it a chance then. There is nothing to gain from Alia now.

Karan could have even approached Tara for this project, that could have worked on his favor since she is an outsider but debuted under his production house already. Sometimes I wonder whether Kjo is still stuck to Aloo out of care or if Aloo's daddy the dearest has had any personal conversation with him lately.🤔
