i havent even started it

I normally don’t read so quickly unless I like the book. I read over 200 pages in a little over a day. The second half of the book is fast paced as compared to the first hundred pages or so.

I've started WTCS today.. Fifty pages in and it's going good so far.

Speaking of Japanese authors, I was planning to read something by Keigo Higashino. And yes, he is popular for his mystery novels; I just can't seem to get enough of them.😆 Anyway, I've heard his books are very good. Has anyone here read his novels? If yes, what did you think of them?

Only Norwegian wood

Didnt have much of an impact on me when I first read it though I liked it.

But somehow I always end up remembering some moments from the book. I think its worth reading.

I dont even want to read his other books because this one had such a huge impact on me 😆

If you ever start read Murakami, start with either Norwegian Wood or Men Without Women (his collection of short stories). These are more “regular” books. His other books deal with themes of magical realism and have characters like talking cats in them.

Even I started off with Norwegian Wood and it left an impact on me. While you are reading the book it seems like nothing great but once you are done, it keeps coming back to you.

Most people start their Murakami journey with Norwegian Wood and it is the best place to start.
You should read his collection of short stories, Men Without Women. That is a perfect follow up to NW.
