Crap story line and Beno's garbage acting makes this film more nauseating

This movie is my guilty pleasure. And I love the songs including that medley.

And yeah, obviously the trio of Hrithik, Rani and Kareena Supporting actors were Amazing and I even liked Uday Chopra 😂

There was a good message as we saw a guy went for good looks straightaway as soon as he looked at kareena at the station.

Atleast it showed that it's important to see their beautiful heart also and look beyond looks in a partner.

Second half had a good twist rani was the deserving girl for hrithik.

I know it's a tried and true trope but the guilt / sacrifice marriage thing is such weak story telling that undermines all characters - especially in this case when people think it's reasonable to give your life to a selfish lying airhead one's known as an adult for 2 weeks.

Why was Pooja such a doormat for Tina with such poor self esteem? In what world is Rani not considered beautiful? Why didn't she tell the truth sometime during the 15 years of writing (and no phone calls?) or when he came to India? Why hand over the man she loved to her leech of a BFF?

Yet, I've watched it several times and will again ....

I dont think Pooja was a doormat. She's hurt that Raj chooses Tina when he sees her, and doesnt even think about which of the two girls is Tina (cos he always thought he was chatting with the prettier one).

Pooja chooses to sacrifice because Tina loses her dad and she feels taking away the one thing she has would shatter her. I've watched this movie too many times lol

Am I the only one who thinks Rani is more beautiful than Kareena?

I think he went to her at the train station not just because she was beautiful but because he recognized her as an older Tina which is who he thought he was e-mailing for 15 years.

I did like that even before the reveal in the church that he was questioning Tina's personality - that she didn't fit the letters - and that he was having a better time with Rani. I wish that Rani was more proactive and made the choice herself instead of having Tina get a clue, grow a conscience and let them off the hook.

By societys point of view Kareena is seen to be more pretty than Rani. You can just see in their KWK episode where all these actors had to rate who was more sexier. What society thinks is depicted in the movies aswell.
