Which is why my fic has everything this show doesn't 😆. It's nuts what they sold to the audience in the form of age-gap love story. Dhoop Kinare was years ago and is a Pakistani show, there probably were rules and norms around what they could show. But this being a contemporary story, it felt so off the way they dealt with the AshNi romance.

I really thought that they will keep their marriage unconsummated for a year or so, as is the norm in the television industry.. Especially given that they behaved the way my grandparents would if they ever went on a date..

When he had come to Nidhi's home by checking size of the engagement ring they've showed a lot of nonsense before that in measurement of the ring..after Nidhi hugged him his reaction weren't acceptable as adult and most importantly as a doctor😆

It rankles the sensibilities that sex is still treated as taboo on TV 🤔, makes me question if audiences are really content seeing this stuff. My fics have liberal doses of it, and I have been questioned at times why I make my writing so sexy, which is why I make extra efforts to put warnings all over the place and get them beta'ed. Makes me wonder if people get offended with this kind of content even now in this day and age...
