The thing SSR Warriors and Bhakts and their combined fanbase don't seem to understand is that celebs have freedom of speech. Freedom of speech also comes with the freedom of silence.
...
If they spoke about intolerance, it was something they felt and they turned out to be right anyway based on how much the BJP bhakt machine has harassed them for the last few years. Campaigns were led to make them shut up, protests were held outside theaters, rocks were thrown at their cars, BJP politicians told them to go to Pakistan, and the propagandist media that supports the bhakt machine calls them terrorists, spreads fake news about them, links them to ISI based on fake info and so on.
Everyone else will enjoy while the celebs will as usual face protests, death threats, rape threats, uninstalling apps, boycotts, demanding they be removed from ads, told to go to Pakistan and so on. Why would they give any fuel to scumbags?
You don't have to preach. Earlier too, I have stood for their freedom of silence.

You mean to say, Kiran asking Amir "Should we leave India" was because, there were campaigns to make them shut up, rocks were thrown at their cars and people kept asking them to go to Pakistan. They are silent with Sushant because, he might have had some personal issues and died?
Sonam, Kareena felt ashamed of being a Hindustani when a child was raped and murdered. But they are not ashamed of being in Bollywood when their colleague died a suspicious death.
I did not expect them to speak about Sadhu's lynching. Their tweet do not make any difference. But Sushant was their colleague.
I am sure, still you will bring political angle and drag BJP/Bhakts into it. I am not interested in political debate at the moment. (Also this will lead to thread getting locked or moved). So I will quit this thread.
