'Why don't you like me?" Prerna asked innocently and then pouted. She sat on her bed, her feet dangling, her hair messy and she was drunk as a sailor.

Rishabh cursed himself for letting her drink so much. He knew that she had zero alcohol tolerance.

He took a deep breath and went to sit beside her. He cleared his throat.

"Of course I like you," he said. "I mean as-as a person." He stuttered.

Gods, why was he such a mess.

Prerna turned to look at him, grabbing his tie and playing with it. "But do you like me?"

"I like you.....as a friend," he mentally face palmed himself because Prerna looked at him with tears in her eyes while Kukki who was standing at the threshold snorted. "Smooth, dad. Way to friendzone the woman that you lo-" " Kukki," Rishabh exclaimed, embarrassed. But Prerna was looking at him, her eyes wide.

" But you don't like me in that way," Prerna lamented or whined. "I'm not worthy of you. Of course. Why would you be interested in me." And then she started to cry.

Rishabh panicked and made a rookie mistake to stop her from crying, "I do like you."

"Then prove it."

"How?"

"Kiss me," she commanded and pressed her lips firmly against his, her hands resting on his shoulders. He was too shocked to respond and they had probably scandalized their teenage daughter who turned around and groaned, "Uggggh, MY VIRGIN EYES. I need some BLEACH!"

Kukki's line was just so🤣 "my virgin eyes!"🤣 please update asap becoz anticipation will kill me
