I know Twinkle n family fought with Rajesh's live-in-GF over his property. Which means live-in partners do claim right over property.

I don't know the whole law around that but I feel Indian law was adjusted to take care of partners who either couldn't or didn't want to get married but were for all purpose leading a husband - wife life. Rajesh khanna's gf should have got compensation based on this but most likely the law was changed after her case. Somehow I don't think Rhea falls into that category.

The relationship was made for both parties' convenience. Toh luka chhipi kyun karenge bhala. PDA se profit milega issi liye hi toh arrange karte hai relationship aur marriage.
