The war happened only because Yudhishtir was foolish enough to continue playing. Duryodhan couldn't have anticipated such foolishness from Yudhishtir

That's a different case altogether. You could prefer Bheem, but I don't like him preferring for the peace over war although it would have meant Duryodhan n Chandal Chaukdi getting Scott free.

Anyhow definitely we don't know what could have happened, but you solely blamed Duryodhan for the war and even the later war that might have happened so I responded.

Duryodhan himself never went for the war.
