The defense of bolly NOT so woke stars is hilarious to say the least. in Hindi there is a word for it “tilmilana” . Basically means rattled but there is a different nuance to it. Anyways. Will be interesting to see a year down the line the reaction from the woke not so woke stars. Hopefully by then some agency will solve the case for Sushant’s family’s sake. Filhaal bandar baant zaari hai.

"tilmilana" - - - smarting comes close but not 100%

I'm pretty sure they would have said something if a certain psychopath hadn't pushed her own agenda and called them "suicide gangs" or murderers.

Better to be silent then to speak on something which you dont know much about and end up making a mockery of yourself and the case going on right now like a certain " outsiders ki messiah " actress is doing .

I assume this topic is made to stir the hornets nest cuz there hasn't been enough "national tv drama" today.. but trust me, sometimes silence is golden.. I know it's not "very woke" in today's time but "some ppl" (ETA: "some ppl" === Kango, in case, in denial, like most bots) are just bullshittin' way too much without saying very much. So I'd rather they and everyone else just STFU for a bit.

Why are the big wigs of Bollywood completely silent ? Is that okay! They don’t even need to know the story or outcome why can’t they simply say that they want justice to prevail?

I find this extremely problematic. They all come out of hiding to comment on Alia’s childhood picture - but they won’t comment on something that is literally driving the public insane ? Not a single word? Kuch toh bolo? Kuch toh kaho?

What kind of groupism is this? They did the same thing with the MeToo Movement

Smaller actors And tv Actors have been amazing. Even Serial wali Devi Ekta is silent.

Even mahaan Taapsee and Sweta Bhaskar are quiet. When something happens to them they cry like toddlers and want everyone to pacify them.

This is not okay regardless of what the outcome is.

Oh hell no Tapsee and Swara are not quiet. They are subtly liking and retweeting tweets mocking his family's accusations 😑

They're finally doing what they should've done to begin with. Zip their lips.

Instead, they decided to gush over SSR first, prompting backlash because hypocrisy.

Then, most of them went ultra defensive, prompting even more backlash.

Now, it looks like the girlfriend had something to do with the death, but she seems closely connected to too many Bollywood bigwigs for her stature, with political names thrown in for good measure. Anything BW-ers say at this time will not simply cause PR backlash. Those statements could be used against them in court. Some lawyer (actually, anyone with a brain would do the same) has told them to be silent.
