The hypocrisy is real with Miraal's dad - the fuss these guys created over Anaya and how easily they accept Harris! Miraal and Harris looked beautiful together in the entire golf sequence..but I am yet to understand what Harris liked in Miraal..she is very unstable and full of herself..IDK they really needed to establish what is likeable in her and what did he see in her, besides her ethereal beauty.

Yes Haris liking Miraal is strange but then love is blind. Post marriage he will see her true face slowly slowly. I hope he is able to get her on the right path

I think it's to soon to judge Hasan, he hopefully will calm down..its easiest to get frustrated with no job. Hope he stands with Anaya all the way..

Miraals issue was never Anayas background though. Her issue was Hassan not being under her control and choosing his own partner without her permission.

Yes that's exactly it. The father points out he is from a broken family and may not be good for your future but at the end let's her decide her spouse because she is the one who has to live with him..yet Hassan can't happily spend his life with his choice because his sister doesn't like her? He sticks by his daughter by not his son. Both father and daughter need a huge jatka.
