Title credit goes to Bunty today for his "special" pronunciation of "patchup"😆

The scenes that stood out to me today, in no particular order:

1) The Devraj-Shravan scene when Shravan tries to get his dad to open up to him about his tiff with the Colonel....I liked this scene again for the layers and nuance to it rather than a straight up shutting down from Devraj....the line when he mentions that him and Vijay have been friends since before Vijay became an officer and Devraj had barely Rs.2 to his name....that's the one that intrigued me - it indicates that these two share a deep history beyond just the basic premise that we've been shown of Devraj being in awe of Army people. In this one single scene, Devraj was so many things - sort of protective about his friendship with the Colonel-not wanting to let anyone into the matter, hurt over the fight with his dearest friend, unable to open up to his son - still old school in wanting his son to just stick to studying and not try to be his friend.

There was a very natural quality to this scene....right from Devraj deflecting Shravan's questions to his wife refusing to let him shut her out. It was also nice to see Devraj admitting to how the situation escalated and he knew exactly what triggered the Colonel.

2) Shravan trying to get advice from Bunty😆.....the whole scene IMO was carried on Bunty's hilarious Bhopali accented pronunciations and his one-liners....from "pay-chuhup"...to the way he was pronouncing "love" which sounded like LAW to me🤣

3) Familiar return of bhaav khaana from both Sumo and Shravan - with both miffed at the other for not calling first after not being able to meet cuz of their fathers ka tiff😆

4) Damru and Malhotras ki maid talk about each other's routines a lot.....another couple in the making for the future?😆

5) Col Tiwari has a solid streak of anger in him too when frustrated....as was shown in the way he yelled at Damru....yes, he may have apologized later but this shows that he is capable of lashing out in anger - will definitely come into play for later family drama. lol

6) Sumo-Shravan ka kitchen interlude thanks to bhooka Damru😆 - in a way, this was the first proper (non-dream) scene they got since the show got back and it was nice to see their usual banter.

Shravan is fully in the FRIENDZONE😆, but he is getting all the feels from simple things like Sumo touching his hand😆....the "aise kaun dekhta hai" bit was nicely layered. Shravan keeps slipping up and making comments showing how lattu he is over her😆

Did I hear Sumo say that she has learnt both "bunking" and "chalaaki" from Shravan?😆.....When did she bunk school? Maybe I've forgotten this from early epis😕.....but yes, she is back in the zone of friendship with Shravan and willing to team up with him to help their dads. There is some ego, some of the usual contempt she has for him (calling him a loser for not doing what she wants😆) but baaki sab back to normal hai.

7) The tire changing scene - again, it was the angst between the two old friends that stood out. You could feel all the hurt and naraazgi swirling between them as Devraj rebuffed Vijay's attempts to lend him a hand with the tire. Shravan got blasted by his dad for trying to intervene....but Sumo prevailed for a bit. I was struck by the juxtaposition of two friendships - one old, one new....both swirling with emotions. With the fathers, it was a reproachful kind of hurt....and with the kids, it was an innocent sort of protectiveness for each other.

I once again liked that it wasn't a typical drama scene....yes, Devraj resisted Vijay's attempts to help him but he wasn't passing caustic comments either....it was just stubborn hurt. And I guess Devraj was almost giving in after his hand got hurt but his brother took him away - the brother definitely doesn't seem a fan of the Army crowd😆

Precap seems to indicate the "Time and space" scene is coming up - nice😆....I liked this one in the promo.

I agree that it gives an insight into the friendship of Devraj and Vijay. No matter how big the tiff is, they are able resolve the issue. I wish that he opens up to Shravan and hopefully even someday, same by Shravan. Shravan always seemed irritated by his scoldings but I also wish that Devraj tries to be his friend so Shravan can easily open up & become more understanding.

2) Shravan trying to get advice from Bunty😆.....the whole scene IMO was carried on Bunty's hilarious Bhopali accented pronunciations and his one-liners....from "pay-chuhup"...to the way he was pronouncing "love" which sounded like LAW to me🤣 Bunty and his tutti-frutti Inglizz is always delight to watch. 🤣also, shravan was playing with the rubix cube..i have seen rubix cube or a mention of rubix cube as a metaphor to describe the relationship between two people, something/someone that is difficult to either fix or understand so i like when the CVs used it to describe the complexity of the relationship in this show..

3) Familiar return of bhaav khaana from both Sumo and Shravan - with both miffed at the other for not calling first after not being able to meet cuz of their fathers ka tiff😆I think it could be from the fact that she might've forgiven him but not completely..its like the time before she started to trust on him..

4) Damru and Malhotras ki maid talk about each other's routines a lot.....another couple in the making for the future?😆 Jhumri and Damru going to Jumri talia on their honeymoon one day 🤣

5) Col Tiwari has a solid streak of anger in him too when frustrated....as was shown in the way he yelled at Damru....yes, he may have apologized later but this shows that he is capable of lashing out in anger - will definitely come into play for later family drama. lol

While I do agree that Vijay was wrong for blasting on Damru and it was good thing that we get to see another side aside from the smiling and chilled out person he is. He also yelled out as to whether they will eat food without Beena. Partially, it was also Damru's fault that he kept on bickering with Daadu so I think at some point one person might get irritated a bit.

6) Sumo-Shravan ka kitchen interlude thanks to bhooka Damru😆 - in a way, this was the first proper (non-dream) scene they got since the show got back and it was nice to see their usual banter.

I agree. The bg score played from the original score reminds me of their potential "breakup." I'm glad they have started to play this.

Shravan is fully in the FRIENDZONE😆, but he is getting all the feels from simple things like Sumo touching his hand😆....the "aise kaun dekhta hai" bit was nicely layered. Shravan keeps slipping up and making comments showing how lattu he is over her😆 she seems completely oblivious to her own feelings at this point let alone realize that shravan is trying to ask her out lol😆

There is some ego, some of the usual contempt she has for him (calling him a loser for not doing what she wants😆) but baaki sab back to normal hai.

she was already accustomed to listening to SUMO SUMO and now she started pranking on him with Devika, hanging out and playing snooker, now this but her habit of preferring army guys over civilians still remains...she seems to still have some trust issues but i was glad to see her happy when she saw shravan listened to her by puncturing devraj's car but rather seemed oblivious to the reason why he did it for her aside from mending the broken friendship of their fathers...

And I guess Devraj was almost giving in after his hand got hurt but his brother took him away - the brother definitely doesn't seem a fan of the Army crowd😆

hmm, devraj definitely seemed affected by the words from vijay from the previous episode so i can understand the frustration but vijay tried to mend by offering the life...i think devraj did want his help esp after the hand injury but rajendra came at the wrong time so that was a bummer...i mean, rajendra obv was concerned from a sibling's POV but he spoiled the moment which couldve been a starting point to amend the broken friendship but idk if there is some other motive to help him , and its a good thing you mentioned about the comparing of true friendship did seem evident...

Precap seems to indicate the "Time and space" scene is coming up - nice😆....I liked this one in the promo. i agree with bunty on the part where suman should also listen to shravan because one shoudnt become a complete majnu in the sense of losing their sense in infatuation/love...i like that suman invites shravan towards group study thru their msg though im fearing the humiliation shravan will face...i wish he, that one day, he says that there is no such thing as army vs civilian and that its all a hoax..

I wish they explain the disdain of daadu towards civilians in this part because i fear the part when daadu ousted shravan from his lecture is going to air from this part...i wish suman speaks up like everyone has a right on getting to learn about the army life whether a civilian or an army...obv shravan is going to see suman on the pretext of group study ..

Awesome analysis..so i answered in BOLD..

LOL and she will remain oblivious for a while I think cuz:

a) Shravan won't have the guts to tell her how he feels

b) She's never had a boyfriend before and seems to consider dating a waste of time from her main life goals

c) Shravan being a "civilian" and not being serious about anything in life is a roadblock in her mind....she can make allowances for him as a friend but she can't seem to open her mind beyond that to take him seriously

Shravan is flying high over his feelings right now so he's oversensitive about every little interaction he gets with her😆.....she obviously isn't going to consider it like that....if he does something nice for her, she will consider him to be doing it out of true friendship.....he's deeeep in the friendzone now😆

Oh I hear you.....without headphones, it can be quite hard to follow with the loud background score....waise bhi Shravan tends to talk too fast or mumble sometimes😆

agreed plus she also mentioned her preference for army person over a civilian ...she tries to follow rules whereas shravan is more of a laid back person...

Thanks, Pranushka :)

Yes, I get that the chacha is protective of his brother, but I still felt bad for the two friends not being able to patch up....especially when it was so obvious they do care for each other.
