You want different yardstick for Kangu's movie declare hit or flop? That movie did gross 100 crores but that does not meant movie was a BB. That's not how Box office works. The movie was based on historical figure, and made with huge budget.
You brought Chapak, then why didnt Panga collated more than 30 crores inspite of good reviews? Why didn't Judgemental Kya work? Why Simran was disasters even with Shahid kapoor? Why can't three times national awards winner, a superstarni ( as per her own sister Rangoli) managed to give a hit movie after 100 crore movie?
In the end, Manikarnika was an average grosser only not a BB as per her claim.
