Kukki- Bajaj / KDB-Kukki- Pre and Post Lockdown

RB-Kukki (Pre Lockdown)

Pre-Lockdown the way I saw Bajaj, he was strict and distant with Kukki. Strict I understood but I did not understand the distant part and disliked it. But there was a little slight hope that he was at least not RUDE to her or ignore her presence like she was his enemy.

The scene where Kukki pleads Prerna to speak to Bajaj to let her go to India. He came and without anyone saying a word got the entire conversation and himself made all the arrangements for the two of them. Surprising the two of them, Kukki was kind of happy. He looked like a strict dad not a RUDE and angry father to me back then. If he appeared like this to other viewers, I have no disagreement, because we all have our own way of interpretation.

Second phone call Kukki calls him to update on Prerna's fire incident, after Kukki saves her from the pandal, he was worried for Prerna but he also responded to Kukki calmly when she said that she should have been with Prerna but she wasn't and apologised. Like a true Bajaj she knew her responsibility because of course Prerna can't function without a support (Sad). That time also he was like 'it's okay'. He knew she was worried too and tried to calm and help saying he'll arrange a doctor.

Then there was another scene where Kukki gets her Dad's call and he speaks to her nicely and she has a smile on her face.

So he was distant (God knows why?), strict, but he cared and acknowledged her.

KDB-Kukki (Post Lockdown)

Post lock down ever since KDB has made an entry he has been most consistent in being inconsistent. What was that behaviour with Kukki on the dining table that the family barely fit in (can they change the table please. Char ke sath uska grand ghar bhi gaya. Sorry Prerna ka ghar it is).

He was all happy boasting about the news to Sharmas who gave a damn about him (Prerna herself wasn't so excited) but he couldn't speak or greet his daughter. So RUDE he was. Can he not understand the difference between being distant or may be strict and RUDENESS. How is he so normal with Sharmas but not with his own daughter? I agree koi backstory hoga but aisa bhi kya kar diya that he has to ignore her and treat her worse than Sharmas🤔

I was against this idea of him being so distant from Kukki, even before the lockdown phase but KDB has given a whole new stupid angle to it.

Now after all this if they try to show a bond between KDB and Sneha, it will be the worst thing. I had similar views when real Bajaj was shown to be distant before lockdown and now with KDBs rudeness it's gonna look pathetic. Please resolve this Father-Daughter misunderstanding before showing any bond between him and Sneha. Bahut hi bakwaas lagega (my pov). Jo apne daughter ke sath probs solve nahi kar pa rha hai wo jake Sneha ko pyaaaarr dega. Aisa kaise chalega?

I can only comment on Pre-lockdown Bajaj. He was just being the inexpressive father who spoke less and was strict with her. He also cared about her because all her college addmissions were done with so much of ease that she didn't have do anything and also made sure to fulfill her wish to go to India. 😀 Exactly like any other strict father. And he also comforted her in his own way when his daughter was apologising. 😀🥰 he maybe be strict, didn't speak much but he never was rude to even his enemies or most disliked Basu 😀😅

Okay I don't like badi Kuki. I like chotu kuki and always will 🥰😀❤️

Hey j do have problems with bjaj character pre and post leap.But one thing which I used to be like about him about his love and care for his daughter.

But today I felt really bad for kukki who was craving for minute attention from her dad.

I began with a shock seeing him distant, following scenes made me feel he was strict. But he cared, didnt treat her like a nobody. I was on my path of believing that what Prerma said to Kukki that he loves her but can not express. But lockdown happened.

Post lockdown, he has become super expressive in the department of anger, taunts and what not but he cant express to his daughter

Inexpressive Strict dad = being RUDE🤔

That too in front of Sharmas who never cared. He is being all okay with them but Kukki ko dekh bhi nahi sakta. Ye kya sab ulta pulta expressions chal rahe hai. KDB could you please let me see a glimpse of RB. Itna zara sa bhi chalega. 😒

Thanks for sharing your views. Its okay to like or dislike any char and have probs. We can always discuss that on forum. But I miss what I loved. He is being distorted in every possible manner. I am very very very disappointed. And aaj ka scene with Kukki was 🥺

Like you even I felt bad for Kukki. Ab agar this guys shows affection towards Sneha (without resolving matters with Kukki), how unnatural will that be😒

I can connect to prelockdown of show how kuki & bajaj relation was.. Thats how the Dads will be, they dnt speak to teenage daughters much as they speak to them through their mothers.

Bajaj was strict dad and same time was concerned for her and kukki knew this too, kukki never made faces or hurt when he communicated to her and infact when she complained this reason to prerna she told i know dad loves me but he cant emote it...

Thats how all dads are for some of us...

They love you more but they cant express it to their daughters how much they love you...

Even same with daughters thry love their dad so much but cant express it.

That girl is so excited happy wanna see one lovely adorable smile or conversation from bajaj and he is so so rude as if kukki is stepchild.

But same bajaj is giving so much attention to sharmas who dnt need his attention..

He was very rude on face to kukki & extra nice to sharmas.

Who says bajaj cant express emotions he was so expressive he put that infront of prerna in kitchen scene upfront he is saying he loves her and she knows tooo..

But why this with own daughter kukki is he angry coz of kukki he has to let prerna go to anurag ...coz of kukki he had to live without prerna for few months.

But what that girl has done to him to show that ignorance.

May be we are gonna witness subplots soon where kukki getting distanced from bajaj & prerna and falling in love for kaushik

Or bajaj might be guilty of something he is punishing hinself by distancing himself from his daughter.

Or he may be angry on kukki that coz of her prerna married anurag and still not accepted bajaj as husband

This Bajaj kukki relationship is being developed as a sub plot, I feel. I don't know why though. There are some FBs coming our way I guess, for this to make sense.

That apart why are we considering a possibility of some relationship angle between Bajaj and sneha? Right now the Makers have in no way hinted it. If anything they've taken the first steps towards establishing anurag and sneha's bond. And if some kind of bond between sneha and Bajaj was on the cards, then it makes even lesser sense to show Bajaj as such a terrible father to his own daughter. 🤷🏾‍♀️

I am glad The RISHABH BAJAJ loved his daughter Kuki, immensely 😀❤️ more than his life 😀❤️ just like any father ❤️

Rest I don't know 🤔. reading the comments & your post, and prelockdown situation yea, I did feel Kuki Kaushik & Bajaj would have an angle.😅 Where I felt *completely my pov* Kuki would accuse him of inexpressive Bajaj saying what you know about Love! And then that spiral downs to drama drama drama.

But now that's not the scenario, is it? 😅

Thank you for this. You have changed the way I looked at Pre lockdown relationship between these two. That portrayal was probably a lot mrw close to reality. :) I can appreciate that phase more because of you and waqtzaya. That distance did make angry but not anymore. Specially after todays epi

For me the way he had accepted Prerna with her child, I didnt expect him to be thks rude even with a step child, thats what this char was for me (feel.free to disagree)

I could have agreed to Bajaj being inexpressive pre lockdown because he was kind of but not anymore. expressing all emotions that dont fit the char.

pehle mujhe bura lagta agar aisa hota to. but aajke behaviour ke baad he deserves it. Kukki might look for love elsewhere.

Or bajaj might be guilty of something he is punishing hinself by distancing himself from his daughter.

uske liye uske shakl pe koi aisa emotion bhi to hona chahiye. Guilt and self punishment mein koi rude kaise hota hai. he seems to be punishing her. anyway KDB is Prerna part 2 shayad isliye mujhe uske expressions nahi samajh aa rhe hain.😕

can that even be a reason? if theh show this fir to ho gaya kalyan. i really hope its not the reason. how is Kukki even responsible. rather Kukki was the reason Prerna came to London.

sab bahut hi gadbad hai. jo bhi ho I felt bad for Kukki.
