Best debut awards are always stupid though, and Vicky technically was not eligible for best male debut.

But that is not say, they haven't nominated non eligible candidates, like Aamir in 1989, when he had already done Holi.

The lady who played Murad's mother in Gully boy winning best supporting . I mean i had to think for a minute what role she played in the film.
