There's nothing new that people discovered about him post his demise that suddenly turned him from a ''random actor'' to a great actor overnight, everything was out in the front always.

Its just people are being hypocritical now, the same people who once bashed & trashed him, calling him filthy names like truck driver, cheater, sexual harasser etc are the same people now singing praises for him.

@BOLD please speak about yourself don't "we" us into this.

I know he was a good actor (humble and down to earth during tv days) but post his transition to movies o read continuous articles of him being arrogant rude and narcissist that i actually believe them.

I got to know he was still a sweetheart he was during PR days and I got to know about his love for science/stars moons/gaming and his philanthropist side post his demise and I know a lot more who share this sentiment

Yes I agree that guilt is a great emotion which influences the people the most. People started to know Sushant better after his death only. And that's the saddest part that, when people are alive they don't get that much love as much they get guilt from all after death.

Anyone who is saying people are hypocrite for naming a road on Sushant Singh Rajput, I don't agree it's his hometown dear. Mostly the road would have been named in the memory of someone memorable. So hypocrisy not works here.

So according to some people, if he didn't get this much love and recognition when he was alive, he doesn't deserve it even after his demise. People should just forget about him. His Patna home is going to be converted into a memoir by his family for his fans, that should also have been done when he was alive??

Let people pay respect to the departed the way they want, negative opinions are not always required.

I know that many feel guilty about not appreciating him before his death and others guilt-trip people for this too, but I don't see how this is hypocritical. It maybe an unfortunate study in human nature, how we don't understand the value of people until they die. You also have to consider that mango people don't really have that much time to look into under-looked or unknown actors lives/personalities/work, Sushant's goodness wasn't really highlighted by the media before on such a large scale. He just didn't have that hype, which was generated posthumously. How can you expect people to appreciate him before he died when all this was hidden from the public? The truth is, in the current society, goodness & virtue is not appreciated b/c it doesn't rake in money or attention. That is why all of a sudden his interviews & clips are popping up everywhere on social media, right? For the clicks. I think instead of guilt-tripping people, we should aim to uplift people in our lives and prevent creating future SSRs.

I am not liking this naming road thing because literally sushant would be embarrassed to see it, no one asked for it, not his family, not his friends and especially not his fans. This has all turned into a political propaganda. If people really want to give a tribute to him how about open a library (one of his dreams) or an organization that helps provide education to underprivileged kids(again one of his dreams) or send students to NASA space program.. Literally so many good things that he wanted to do can be done to show him some love and respect.

His philanthropy was hardly talked about. How much coverage did the media give to him helping kids with education , helping lower income group schools with equipments , counsellors , helping so many people with money to get life saving operations done , helping with crores of rupees to states affected with floods , sending a team to help on ground. Sadly even your post also mentions nothing of the aforementioned.
