I don't see this happening but why does it say so.

So Munshi is dead? This will be a big sadma and change for Mahjabeen. Now she has to stand on her own feet as girls go through drastic change when they lose the support of their father. I wouldnt be surprised if she decides to take revenge.😲

Dont think so..if Vashma dint know about all this, maybe there was even a bleak possibility of MJ marrying Sarwar..but now there is no chance. For that matter I think now everyone (including Abdullah and Mansoora) will be one team united against Sarwar ..

Shanzay is here to stay till the last episode looks like🤪they may end this show with Abdullah and MJ uniting right in the end😵

Basically I think Abdullah did like Mahjabeen pampering him..all men, whether modern or not, are closet patriarchs and expect their wives to do things for them..and Mahjabeen has been conditioned to think that she has to do "khidmat" for her husband..thats the only way she will make a place for her in his heart. Lets not forget she isnt educated enough or hasnt experienced much of life outside her home. Nothing wrong in caring for the person in the manner in which one understands or deems fit..but I also find it problematic why it is a one way street, but that is how the South Asian society is in general.

I also liked Shanzay's character a couple of times in this show - when she rejected Abdullah for the first time - she was rude, but she was right - he was harassing her and she was not interested in him. She also took a strong step in terms of walking out of toxic marriage. Nobody needs to live like that. What is the biggest flaw with her character is falling for Abdullah. It was unrealistic and stupid and she almost became some sort of a homewrecker too. But what she said on the call was correct that if Abdullah expects khidmat from her, he needs to be ready to do the same thing for her too.

Those who are bashing Abdullah/Bilal are wrong. It's not his fault. Their intentions might not have been wrong but they did make a blunder out of the scene.

It was wrong of Mahjabeen too to do all this but that's what society has ingrained in her. I blame the society and the creative heads for the flawed aspects.

In humsafar, Asher thinks about how khirad would stay awake and give him a head massage when he had a headache not she opening his shoes right. Just bcz here they r two bawla characters doesn't make the scene right. I am sure we all would be infuriated if Asher remembered her for all this.

For the same reason I find the novel ZINDAGI gulzar hai very problematic bcz in that Kashaf does become that joote polish karne wali biwi. Of course it can be a choice but that relationship in the novel was toxic unlike the drama where Kashaf makes him fall in love with him deeper by doing little things like cooking the food he likes. But that's also problematic bcz these dramas never really show how men would do such gestures. They have divided gestures also into two kinds- men spending money and buying gifts while women doing the chores. I think it's high time we get past that.

As for feminism, each of us may have different views. But I never accept it's demonization. Feminism accepts within its fold women who engage in domestic labour. It never ridicules it. Infact it argues for its due recognition and appreciation. Without the emotional and domestic labour that our mothers engage in, the entire capitalist structure would begin crumbling.

Agree about ZGH, I have only seen the drama, but Zaroon was some kind of a logical chauvinist, if that makes sense. He was conservative, but that aspect of him fit very well in the wavelength of his relationship with Kashaf..she wanted someone who would take charge as the "head of the house" and be authoritative, since she missed the presence of her father in the truest sense of it at her maternal home. Infact in many ways, her taking care of all things of Zaroon secured her in a way, considering the weight of her own demons and insecurities. It enabled her to believe that she belonged with him and their relationship would not fail. So in the realms of the story, or in the realms of the couple Zaroon and Kashaf were, it worked for them - their own shortcomings became each other's strength. However, I would never idolize a man like Zaroon - he could be a playboy in college, but the way he reacted when he came to know about Osama's proposal was just hypocritical and childish.

Also Khirad should have left Ashar just like Noor left Aman.

Ok back to PKS😆 I am really hopeful that the tragic part of this show will come to an end with Munshiji's death and everyone will gang up against Sarwar and his downfall will be fun to watch!

Khirad made sense to me, because her decision was mostly based on her daughters attachment to Asher so she decided to give him another chance since he was apologetic and all and sincere with both of them. However, if they didnt have a daughter im sure her decision would be much different.
