Good question 😆 First reason is yes..u said it..aunties have a lot of free time. Second reason is , once anyone starts watching a story and additional incentive is that we like an actor , they cant stop in between without watching the logical conclusion . We may crib that we dont like it but it's not like that..we like "something " that's why we r watching. My friend suggested this serial to me , I didnt wanna watch it as nothing was of my interest..then one day i was too vella and i saw one epi and the next week epi i thought chalo i have 40 mins dekh lete hain😆 a story is a story is a story.
There r lots of options of YouTube but as I said earlier , i dont watch all unless someone strongly suggests it or I read great reviews abt it..I dunno why I continued to watch jalan when I found it disgusting ..I will stop watching this phase n continue only when the payback time comes. I stopped watching deewangi n only read the update ..I couldn't bring myself to watch dushman e jaan irrespective of the good reviews bec I couldn't handle the twist on which the story is based..so yes its personal choice..we may not be liking a story but there r many others who do. Actors / story/ premise/ sets / costumes / music ..anything can attract the audience.
At least you don't hate on MTA. I'm talking about people who hate on a show and watch it nevertheless. I remember when MNJ used to air a lot of people said this storyline is pretty gross. Or this is something they had the misfortune of seeing. My question is.. what's the point of continue watching something which is that worst according to you in modern history? When I say I find Deewangi toxic, it is toxic and I just can't bring myself to watch it. You didn't say you find MTA toxic or that it's so disgusting. You just don't enjoy it that much. There's a big difference. Here I'm talking about people jinhe MTA ki aik aik cheez problematic lagti hai. It's one thing to not find a story that attractive, impactful or real. It's another thing to find it a critical disaster and then wasting your precious minutes to sit through it on YouTube. There are some highly questionable concepts that make me wonder how they ever got greenlit in the first place. Like Jalan. So that is something I'd never watch. And then there are guilty pleasures like MTA and PKS that aren't that remarkable but also aren't downright awful like Jalan. So I will watch them from time to time, despite finding fault with the story or direction. You can criticize a show you are watching. There's no problem with that. That's what critics do lol. I'm talking about haters here. Why would you spend your precious few spare hours binging a show that makes you cringe? Why not sink your teeth into something meaty instead? Here we don't have enough time to honor the best TV series and there they have time to focus on the worst. 🤦🏼♀️
