Karan has embarked on a new journey and that's great for him as an actor. Obviously, as actors they can't emotionally invest in a character to the extent that they are unable to move ahead in their career but as a Yeh Hai Mohabbatein and IshRaDivAn loyalist, the feeling of seeing Karan move on to a different character is really weird.

I will certainly watch KZK 2 (without forming any attachment) but YHM and RKB will always live on in my heart.

The feeling isn't easily explicable in mere words. If you know, you know.
