For some Hrithik and Ranbir can be excused since they are talented , for some Shraddha and Tiger can be excused. For some even though Vicky Kaushal and Kiara Advani are talented and not from a powerful Bollywood family can’t be excused because they are associated with KJO. Everybody is interpreting it in their own way now as per their own preferences. Even Sid Malhotra is getting criticised because he is getting chances after his failure even though he is an out and out outsider. On one hand people complain that insiders get a lot of chances and now that an outsider is getting lot of chances no one likes that also. People who like Sid will say of Star kids can get chances why can’t he and those who don’t like him will say he is getting benefit of favouritism from KJo. Although I see that your response was not quoting my reply to this thread, but has lots of references from my post, so I am kinda drawn to reply to this, please don't mind. 😆

@ Blue and @Red - It's co-related. The moment an non-talented insider is not being manipulative and shrewd and not involved in 'giving friendly' calls around wanting to be 'cast' in films where others are finalized, that insider is not making it more difficult for an outsider than it already is. Whether that untalented insider will be accepted by the audience or not (which in case of Shraddha) is left for the BO to decide, same like an untalented outsider (like Katrina). In case of a Talented Insider, people will not 'wonder' why he/she has been picked by the Directors for their dream ventures, nor do they feel tortured to have to see them, Now it's again upto audience to decide whether to accept or reject the insider.

Problem occurs only when there is an extremely untalented mediocre insider who plays games through her adopted dad to snatch projects from Talented Insiders/Outsiders or Untalented Outsiders. That is unfair business. Nepotism exists everywhere, and will continue to exist. But pulling strings for mediocre insiders to pull others down - That's like ROCK bottom !

People who are protesting randomly might not be consciously aware, but they did think it through to finally nailing it down to Alia, KJo, Kareena and the Lobbying gang. The problem is with those guys who polluted the entire env through politics.

Re:topic Shraddha is beautiful; she cannot however act much. I find her bland and boring sometimes on screen too - she doesn't always hold my attention. However, some filmmakers have used her subtle charm well - Stree and the song Sun Saathiya, Humma Humma song come to mind. She was no doubt a Katrina replacement when Katrina's peak ended - the boys were all in love with Shraddha. Don't know any boys who cared about Alia on that level. Shraddha had perfected the doe-eyed girl who needs saving - she also has a very calming face. It is also silly to deny that she was/is successful. At one point, all the young actors had their biggest successes with her.

In the world of star kids, it is obvious she has a genuine, graceful, and non-bitchy personality and seems pretty well-liked. No wonder she doesn't fit in KJo's world.

It's funny, the nepo supporters the other day were saying that nepo kids have tiers themselves - some are more valued than others and now are missing this concept themselves. 😆

Regarding Shraddha i don't know the history of her likes but the point is if the issue is how outsider's don't get as much chances as star kids, how they have to audition while star kids keep getting chances after several flops then Shraddha is definitely one of the star kids who gets this benefit. So how can she be excused? However if issue is not the struggles of outsider and only the KJO gang snatching of offers then of course Shraddha can be excused since she is not part of KJo gang. Problem is different people have different issues which all fine but then lets be clear about it.If the issue is only with KJO gang then it means one is basically ok with nepotism or star kids getting their first chance easily or getting several chances or outsiders not getting chances all that is ok as long as they are not part of KJO gang. I am even ok with this but the at least this shouldn't be masked by making it seem that outsider's struggle is the true issue.

She scores negative when it comes to main part which is acting , has never been able to hold my attention. In-fact i had to really push myself to watch stree because it had sharaddha and i though ti would be sleeping while watching it 😆What good is anything else if she doesn't have basic skill for Bollywood which is acting.

Being Shakti Kapoor's daughter is like the biggest curse ever so clearly she's around because people love watching her onscreen and offscreen, especially guys.

She has almost always played inconsequential girl next door characters and has never been shoved down anyone's throats as the best thing since sliced bread. Her stardom isn't a product of Kjo's fabrication and bullying. Unlike Alia she's beautiful, feminine, softspoken, pretty, graceful and a genuine sweetheart ~ basically the public's darling.

Why is Dear Zindagi even being brought into this? Filmmaking is always a collaboration between different people. Just because Gauri Shinde initially thought of Katrina doesn't mean she automatically gets to do anything she wants like a one man army. Kat can't act at all and even her own fans know this. The producers (both SRK and Karan produced it) have every right to step in and say no and offer another suggestion for the actress.

If Gauri had a problem with it, she could have left the table and taken her script to other producers. She saw a good deal and stuck with it and Alia did a great job in the movie so the producers were right.

When bullying, manipulating, and collusion are done primarily done against outsiders who have the potential to be threats to star kids, yeah, it does become part of outsider struggle story.

You know what's going on here? In an outsider vs insider tussle, the outsider wins in the eyes of the public. So the KJo, Ali, Kapoor gang and their hangers on don't want it framed as such.

Too bad. They've said enough stuff on tape for the public to know exactly who gets hurt most by such games, and it ain't Hrithik Roshan, but he doesn't do such games. It's people like SSR who get bulldozed, and that, too, by the mean girl gang. So yeah, HR and some other insiders who have done nothing to get blamed in terms of harassing the outsiders will not get hammered, but KJo, Alia, Ranbir, Kareena, Sonam, and the like have done that and deserve to be called out. And they deserve to be called out for targeting mainly outsiders.

So yeah, it IS an insider vs outsider thing.
